This really is a great keyboard, but I do have to say there's one fatal flaw. Any other keyboard, if you spill something on it, at the very best you'll have sticky keys and at the worst it will stop working. With this keyboard, the aluminum face means that it is electrically conductive. And while as far as I know, the amperage is too low to be dangerous, having to replace an otherwise working keyboard because touching it gives you an unpleasant buzzing sensation isn't exactly fun. Definitely get a spill-proof cover for this one.

I'm a professional photographer who's been a mac user for 15 years. This has been my favorite keyboard of all time.

The low profile is a joy to type on. I love having the number keys and custom f keys which I use all the time. I also prefer a cable connected keyboard to a wireless any day. Who wants to change batteries every month? It's been nothing but a headache. I've been there.

Unlike a prior review my iPhone 4 syncs beautifully over the USB 2.0 Ports on this keyboard with no 'low power' warnings or what have you. That may have to do with the power of the port the keyboard is actually plugged into. I'm using the new quad-core 27" iMac. I know that my 5 year old white 20" core due iMac has given me such low power warnings when plugging into that keyboard's USB port.

I recommend this to anyone with a mac. I ordered mine as an election for my iMac but my wife wants me to order another one for her to use on our white iMac with the old style high profile keys.

I've owned this keyboard for more than a year now, and it's still working perfectly (no bad keys, etc.), though I've never tried popping the keys out. When I try to get dust and crumbs out I just turn it upside down and I smack the back gently, and the dust comes out. What I like is that the keys are close to the metal casing, so not a lot of dust/junk go into the keyboard in the first place. I personally prefer a chicklet feel over a traditional keyboard, and I use one of the USB ports for my wireless mouse.

One thing I think that can be improved would be to have the F5 and F6 keys dim the backlit keyboard for a mac laptop, because it's annoying to have to reach over to my actual mac keyboard to have to increase/decrease the backlight. I can't really think of other complains, though once in a while when NI press down on a key it feels like it's stuck (assume it's dirt/crumbs), and I just turn it around and smack it to clean it. I've also cleaned the keys' surface with a cloth once in a while, and it still looks like new. Over time the white paint rubs off on the bottom of the keyboard, but it's just normal wear and tear (especially since I've had it for a year now). I've also noticed some scratches on the back, though since I don't really look at the back often it's not a problem for me. All in all I'm satisfied with this purchase.

I just brought this keyboard today because I wanted the number keys on the side. It was working just fine then i was typing and all of a sudden it started typing one symbol and wouldnt stop i unplugged it and plugged it back in and it was still doing it. So i plugged my bluetooth one back in. If you want the numeric pad i would do what i am going to do tomorrow and that is just buy one that is by it self. You can buy a numeric keypad that is by itself for like 10.00 from target.

Looks good but don't start typing I've never needed to go back and fill the gaps in words this much with any other keyboard ever, it keeps missing letters. And whats with the home and end keys? Sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.

I've had it for ages but still haven't gotten used to it. Less accurate than iPhone touchpad. It regularly skips keystrokes making it necessary to go back and clean up everything I type. Good looks don't make up for poor functionality.

When I was at the Apple store today, I was puzzled by what I saw. A full sized wired keyboard. or a smaller wireless keyboard. I definitely do prefer the full sized keyboard since I do need the wireless option because my main computer is hooked up to a 65" screen in my room, not on a desk. I can't really work with a smaller keyboard, so I went with this. I really do need a wireless version of this fully extended keyboard, but otherwise this works fine and it great with all of its crisp clean strokes. It looks better than any other keyboard that I have used, and matches right up with my magic mouse. Glad it's not cheap plastic, full metal. Although it could have been a wireless full keyboard, I am still satisfied with this keyboard.
