Is it worth upgrading from Logic Pro 8 to Logic Pro 9?
I don't use Mainstage or any of the guitar amp features. Is it worth upgrading from logic pro 8 to logic pro 9?

Is the xsKey the same as the USB dongle I have for LAP v4? I'd like to upgrade big time! I've read that the xsKey for LAP5 does let you upgrade.

AnswerI have had both in my MacPro for several months. No trouble. Even had them both running at one point. pretty slow together.

Is it hard to use?
So is this product hard to use? How long would it take to learn how to use it?
What other equipment would I need to effectively use this product? cause all I have is a computer.

AnswerHey, I do not know what you use Logic for, but if you are that new to it, I would just wait to upgrade to Logic 10 when it comes out. I say this because there is already so much for you to explore in the Logic 8 bundle, that you likely wont even get through everything it AND 9 has to offer before 10 comes out.
I have had Logic 8 for over a year, and I think I am going to wait for 10 to upgrade. The new features seems excellent, but I still have so much to do with Logic 8, that I can wait for Logic 10. I have never used Mainstage before, so I doubt I will jump into Mainstage 2. And, as cool as the new guitar amps seem, I don't see myself using them a whole lot.
Also, I have a 2.7 PowerPC, and while I can't blame Apple too much for dropping PowerPC support, I dont feel bad about waiting til I get a new computer to pick up the latest Logic offering.- Answered by Matthew O from Wilmginton

Since that Logic Pro has the pitch correction effect, can I use the pitch correction effect on audio tracks in Soundtrack 3? For me, soundtrack is easier for mixing only. Thanks for answering.
