AnswerYes, the new macbook pro would be excellent, however, if you are just doing data entry/ accounting (namely text based stuff), the macbook air is a lighter, cheaper option that will be plenty fast and powerful for your needs.

can i run Quickbooks Pro 13 on my Mac
I purchased Account Edge software a few years ago, and it as not as user friendly as Quickbooks. Everyone I do business with uses Quickbooks, and it would make it simpler and cost effective to use Quickbooks Pro 2013. Will I be able to run this program, without a lot of hiccups, with all of my Mac products. I have desktop, Macbook Pro laptop, IPad, iPhone, and that is why switched over to Apple, so that everything syncs, and it is "idiot" proof. I am better when everything flows, and runs smoothly.
Please let me know as soon as possible.
Thank you for your help. :)

How do i connect my 11 inch macbook air to my tv with sound. What wires will I need?
My macbook only has two usb ports, the thunderbolt port, and headphone jack. What wires will I need for those available ports and can you explain how to hook it up, too? Oh, i need to be able to hear the sound, too. Thanks.

Best AnswerI'm assuming you have an HDMI port on your tv. If so, HDMI carries both video and sound, so you need Belkin Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter. This should go from your Thunderbolt port to HDMI port in the tv

Any blue ray
Does Apple make a SuperDrive with a blue ray DVD drive?
- Asked by Barry K from Irvine

Best AnswerNo it doesn't and probably never will. People have been asking for it ever since it came out but Apple long decided that online streaming is the future. I would love for them to put in blu ray but I highly doubt they ever will.

My teachers use it at school. It is really only if you want to lock down the laptop so no one will casually steal it. you can buy (i guess from Kensington) a 4 number combination lock that clicks in and is attached on the other end to a long thin metal cable that you can loop around any small enough object that isn't going anywhere, like a column of some sort.
Is that good?- Answered by Nikko S from Florence

Not with the HDMI port. The HDMI port on nearly all laptops is an output only and cannot accept input. You can connect a game console through a USB video capture device. Look for a "VHS to DVD kit", and make sure it is Mac compatible. Many of these devices are Windows/Linux only.

Macbook (Air or Pro) vs Windows-Based PC for Business
How easily can a Macbook Pro (or Air) replace a windows-based PC to support a traveling consultant with the following needs:
1) Easily connect to a client wireless network
2) Easily connect to a client wired network
3) Easily connect to a client email server with a client provided email address
4) Ability to work with SAP GUI and other business applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Project and Word)
5) Ease of working with large Excel files containing 500k records
Im looking migrate from windows-PC, but am very concerned as a small business owner the ease of integration with client network and communication software.- Asked by Michael N from Cincinnati

AnswerIf you want to use Excel, Powerpoint or Word stick with WIndows as the Mac version is not a patch on the Windows one. Frustrating to use with drop downs the lack of a right click makes copy and paste painful and slow , no auto preview of changes in font size or colours, in short it is like going back to 2003.

Yes but you need the version made for MacOS. I find the 2011 Mac version superior to the latest PC version. In years past the opposite was true with the Mac versions being somewhat unreliable and prone to crashing, especially Excel and PPT, but these issues seem to be all but resolved.
