The iPhone 5 supports LTE Technologies (4G). However you will need to check with your carrier to see if the area you live in will be supported by 4G.

I bought my 4s through Verizon but I would like to get AppleCare, how?
- Asked by Bob K from Pittsburgh

AnswerAppleCare+ must be purchased within 30 days of the date you bought your new iPhone. If you did not purchase AppleCare+ with your iPhone, you may purchase it at an Apple Retail Store. To buy AppleCare+ at an Apple Retail Store, a Specialist will first need to verify your iPhone purchase date and confirm that your iPhone has no pre-existing damage.

should i get an iphone 4 or 4S?
- Asked by Rebecca W from Inverloch
- Sep 18, 2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerGet at least the 4S due to the fact that the 4 is over 2 years old. IOS 6 is compatible with iphone 4 but not all features will be available. One such feature would be turn by turn navigation. So in my opinion, i really think you should buy the 4S or 5.

will iPhone5 work like an iPod Touch even without a SIM card?
The iPhone5 will not do anything of what the iPod Touch does without registering with a NanoSIM card at a mobile phone company first.
Suppose the contract runs out and is not renewed. Will the iPhone5 go on working like an iPod Touch even without a current SIM card? E.g. downloading apps updates over WiFi?- Asked by Josef N from Robina
- Sep 23, 2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerAfter waiting for my NanoSIM card a few days I have activated the mobile phone connection at the mobile phone provider's web site as instructed. Taking the SIM card out again the iPhone5 was still operative like an iPod Touch.

- Asked by Peter S
- Apr 5, 2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerYes, you will be able to use an unlocked iPhone bought in the US in the UK, as long as you plan on using a GSM carrier. (The UK doesn't even has CDMA carriers, so you'll be fine) If you buy an unlocked iPhone, there is no additional unlock fee.

Can I get Face Time for iPhone 3Gs?
- Asked by Patricia C from Vincent
- Aug 5, 2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerSorry to say this, but FaceTime can't run on your phone (at least not officially) and probably never will. There are two major reasons for this:
1. No Second Camera - The most central reason that FaceTime won't come to the 3GS or 3G is that those models have only one camera on the back, while FaceTime requires a user-facing camera. The user-facing camera is needed to take video of you while also allowing you to see the person you're calling on the screen. While the 3GS or 3G's back camera could take video of you fine, you wouldn't be able to see the person you're talking to--thus negating the idea of a video chat.
2. No Software - Because their hardware doesn't support FaceTime, Apple doesn't make the FaceTime software available for either of these models, even with iOS 4 or higher installed.- Answered by Alex M from Houston
