New respec Macbook Air vs New Macbook Pro for ios development
I'm a beginning ios developer and im looking to go mobile with my projects. I just can decide what would be better: fully loaded MBA(8gb ram, upgraded processor, etc) or the new Macbook Pro w/ the Retina. The loaded mba is pretty much the same as the new base version mbp. My only concern is the graphics power. I dont plan on doing any 3D games any time soon, but at the same time should i be looking toward the future o this one? I love the slim factor/portability of the air, but will I be out performed by the end of the year on this one. Any suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.

No questions asked, get the retina MBP. The processor still has a big difference, (dual to quad core, and 2.0 to 2.3). The biggest difference you will love is Xcode on the new screen. A 13" is really difficult to do development with Xcode. With the high resolution display, you can't go wrong. I just got my retina today, and I made the right choice.
