Apple has this amazing service called iCloud. Basically what iCloud is a way to keep your calendars, contacts, apps, updates and much more all up to date and synced wirelessly automatically and easily. EXAMPLE:say your at work on your iphone, your iPad is at home and you have a mac in your office OK. pretend you add an event to the calendar on your iPhone. with in seconds that event is wirelessly and automaticaly added to your mac and iPad. IT JUST WORKS. But remember all the devices must be under the same iTunes account. Hope I helped. if u need more info go to apple.com and search iCloud fro more info.
