Can I use this on macair 45W adapter to charge my macbook air 13'' in South Korea?
Can I use this on macair 45W adapter to charge my macbook air 13'' in South Korea? It says it's for iphone ,ipad, and ipods so I don't know if my computer or the adapter will break.
I'm pretty sure if I use the 10W adapter in the kit that is meant for ipad/ipod/iphone, then definitely my computer will break.(right?) But I want to know if I can just use the 240V Korean plug thingy on the end of my 45W computer adapter and charge my computer?- Asked by Lee K from Boston

The only way I know how do this is with a notebook computer: plug the computer into an electrical outlet and plug the USB cords for the iPhone and the iPad into the USB ports on the computer.
Alternately if in Europe, since both the iPhone and iPad came with chargers, with the Apple World Adapter Kit you can use the European adapter and the Korean adpater, which is very close to and woks just as well as the European adapter.....- Answered by Luciano S from East Hampton

Can I just use a cheater plug, instead?
My wife is going to Japan soon. We have a U.S. 3-prong to 2-prong adapter already. Her house uses a 2-prong plug, just like older houses in the U.S. Can we just use that "cheater plug"? Or, is there something special about the Apple adapter?

What's in the box?
I've got a 15" macbook that I'll be taking to the UK. The US power cord gives you two options: plug in the cord that leads to the power box, or use the little collapsible two-prong piece to plug the power box directly into the wall.
Would the UK adaptor piece fit directly into the white box (meaning the white box would be directly plugged into the wall), or would it be at the end of a cord that fits into the box? Or would I have the option? Thanks.- Asked by Travis W from Telluride

The new plugs in Italy are the standard 2-prong Euro plug...it will work in them. It will not work in the old 3-prong plugs without a local adapter. The older style plug is getting rarer and rarer.
