Clear, easy to use, fits keyboard perfectly

    • Written by from Bogor

This is my second keyboard protector, my first one was useless because it's too thick, very hard to use. I can say I'm happy with this product because I can type easily as if I don't use the protector (yes, it needs adjustment at the first time, give it around one week to get used of it) and it fits the keyboard perfectly (that's the best I think). One question is: can I just let it stay at my keyboard when I close the laptop? Because I heard a lot of advices not to do so, it will give spot to the screen. Pls share your experience. Thanks!

    Almost Perfect

I got this cover to protect my MacBook Pro from finger grease and dirt . . . after owning my MacBook Pro for just over a year, I've noticed that the black keys really start to show these "circles" on the keys where there is finger contact, and I'm guessing it's the cumulative result of the gunk from my fingers slowly building up on the keys. (Do note that I am a very clean person and don't type if my hands are really gross, I guess a certain degree of grease and dirt is just unavoidable.)

I've been using the cover for a few days now, and it seems to be working really well. I like how it silences the keys and makes me feel like I'm being more gentle on the spring mechanism that creates key travel. However, the cover does have a slight "stickiness" to it, and little crumbs and cat hair (I have 3 cats) really seem to stick to it, even though I am not a slob when typing. It also kind of sticks to the screen and makes a weird *skusch* noise every time I open the MacBook.

Other than those minor complaints, overall the product is great. I'm really happy with the cover, and would recommend it if you're looking to protect your keys!

    Best keyboard protector

    • Written by from Calgary

I spent a week searching and reading reviews of the many different keyboard protectors that are available on the market. I gotta say, Moshi is just amazing. Compared to other products which use silicone, the Moshi is a very very very thin compared to them and its very hard to notice once you put it over your keyboard.

I've had it for about two weeks now and I love it. I got use to typing over the protector within a few hours and now its just natural. I highly recommend it.

    NIce product

    • Written by from ELMHURST

I like the way it fits on the keyboard and I love the fact that it is washable. The only thing that I don't like is the feel of it while it's on the keyboard. It's kinda sticky (I guess 'coz it's silicon). I hope you can also produce a plastic keyboard guard.

No complaints here. It does what it was made to do. You will have to get used to it, but then again you have to get used to every new thing you buy. Great product.

It serves its purpose and keeps the keyboard clean, the only thing is it is really uncomfortable to type with. If you dont mind relearning how to type and like a clean computer it is worth it

    Awesome

I bought this because I have a 4 year old who is constantly around me! I took a little getting used too - but I highly recommend it. It keeps dust, food, drink off your keyboard! When you see what it collects you will be in awe. I am very happy with my purchase, and on top of protecting it from food and stuff it also protects the wear and tear of daily keyboard use. I am a first time user of this product and highly recommend it to everyone! No more air cans for me!!

The best keyboard cover you can buy

    • Written by from Ottawa

Easily the best keyboard cover I've used. Non intrusive - does not interfere with typing at all. Keeps the keyboard spotless, nothing gets underneath. Durable - I've had this for 1.5 years, no problems. Almost invisible. Incredible fit. Your search is over. Buy this one - you won't regret it.

    The best in the market

    • Written by from Santa Clara

I have tried lots of keyboard covers - trust me I have tried them all. This is the only one that can last more than 5 minutes on my keyboard. Yes, you need to clean it from time to time, but you can't abuse it when you go to clean it. If you run it thru the ringer (e.g. twist it into a ball while cleaning it) you'll discolour the plastic - it's the nature of the material. Other than that, it's practically invisible and almost undetectable under your fingers.

    Good but dirty

    • Written by from Los angeles

It does protects your keyboard from dirt and looks beautiful the first 2 weeks for the back lights BUT once you washed it starts getting gray and ugly i wish it could stay the same way as the first days but at the end my mac-book pro had a bad look and the keyboard like and old computer. it was all gray i threw it away and i got a black one that one looks awesome but the bad things is that you're not able to the back-lights (just a little bit) but it looks better than with the moshi all grayed. i would probably get it again but i would never wash it again maybe just clean it with air compressed or something because the mac looks pretty with the clear keyboard protector.

I bought this as well as a case from the Apple store before being shipped my Macbook Pro for Christmas (15 inch).

This keyboard cover is truly amazing. Ultra thin, and keeps wear away from the keys themselves. This will increase the longevity and life of anyone's macbook keyboard- in my opinion it needs to come standard with every Macbook! You can't even notice it's on, and I love the added protection. I'm really funny about keeping things super clean if they're really nice (like my Macbook, for example). The thought of getting finger oils and crumbs underneath the keys makes me cringe, and I am SO GLAD I GOT THIS!

If you've got a Macbook, you need to have this!

    my opinion

    • Written by from Plymouth

yesterday i went to the apple store at our mall in Novi, and i thought it was a pretty good investment for my new mac i got from friends this christmas. when i go home and un-boxed it i was happy but disappointed at the same time because since it was in that small little box it got all folded and it doesn't stay down but thats suppose to go down in a few days and adjust to your key board. even though it wasn't to good at first i still really love it, thanks apple you saved me!!!!

    Should be standard equipment

    • Written by from Belleville

This protector should come in the box with every Macbook. If you appreciate how exquisitely prone Macs are to damage from even the slightest exposure to liquids (something I learned the hard way fairly recently), then you understand that a protector like this is a requirement, not a luxury, and I'm somewhat annoyed that I have to pay extra for it. But it is what it is. Don't wait until you experience a catastrophic failure due to accidental spillage (specifically NOT covered by any warranty), as I did, before making this small investment to protect your much larger investment.

    Moshi Keyboard Protector

    • Written by from Minden

This product is AWESOME. 5/5 for this.
I love how snug/perfect it fits. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this. For all the people complaining on cleaning, you probably 95% did it wrong. For all who are worried about cleaning, don't be worried. Info for cleaning:
    1. Apply some mild detergent (i.e. dish washing detergent) on a damp cloth
    2. Gently scrub both the front and backside of ClearGuard with the cloth
    3. Rinse ClearGuard thoroughly with water
    4. Place ClearGuard on tissue paper and air dry naturally
*Note: Excessive force during cleaning may induce wrinkles/creases
Do not use soap to clean ClearGuard.

    Much better than marware

This moshi protector is much thinner and clearer than the marware product. Fits snugly, doesn't slip and is almost invisible.
