    Great... Only When It Works (Buyer Beware)

    - Inferior scanner compared to ScanSnap S1500
    - First NeatDesk (brand new) ordered from Neat.com - defective after few months; ADF no longer works so you need to "babysit" the scanning process, contacted Technical Support and after going through dozens of emails doing the same troubleshoot, they finally sent a refurbished scanner
    - Refurbished scanner from Neat.com Warranty - dead on arrival; scan image is not usable; now going through the same tedious process with Technical Support

    - Windows - frequently crashed
    - Mac - always hangs; does not "analyze" the scans, does not "auto-fill" the fields; may need to use it under Windows in bootcamp/virtual machine

    Frustrating to Use.

    This initially looked like a useful solution for me for when I'm on the road to scan and track my receipts and for other scanning. However every scan has a blue-green tint. After numerous times calibrating I can get the green tint to fade but not disappear entirely, but it's an awful lot of work and time to get the scanner to read colours accurately. I am disappointed with the result. I feel like I got ripped off by a glitzy cheap "infomercial" type of product.

    crashes and not good at reading data

    I bought this and pretty much just use it as a scanner and fill in the data myself. The data recognition is wrong about 3/4 of the time. There should be a feature that says-"I don't know what the text says" Instead it just guesses. This is a problem especially with receipts. I've had totals of $16.50 read as $14.50. Not acceptable. Also, it hangs up half the time. NEEDS MUCH IMPROVEMENT.
