I bought this at a premium price because I really like red - it's a bit vain I know but sure.

When I received it and opened it and put it beside my old knock off red bumper from eBay I swear I couldn't tell the difference. They looked exactly the same. This is a bad sign.

As far as quality goes, my knock off bumper was actually higher quality and laster for longer! After 6 months there were rips and tears in the thin plastic that actually touches the glass, as well as rips and blemishes on the side where the hard flat plastic piece meets the flexible rubber piece.

This is a low quality product, that is ready for replacement after 6 months.

Love the case, but have issues with it turning phone off. Black worked fine but red one fits differently. From my inspection it appears to fit too tightly to profile of buttons like it needs moved. Going to try new case from the store. Wish me luck.

I like this version - (PRODUCT) RED - of bumper a lot. I've owned the black bumper for a year and changed it to RED bumper a few weeks back. It is very pretty and durable compared to previous model - black. The only disadvantage of this product I see, however, is that it lasts only a few months, probably one year at top.
Anyway... if you want to have the bumper from Apple, this (PRODUCT) RED is the one.

I bought this bumper and in the first weeks it looked just like in the picture above but after some time it started to turn black it gets really dirty and ugly, its an apple branded product and it deserves better materials for such a small product.

Got The First One And It Was Defective But Apple Had No Problem Sending Another Another One And That Was I Very Nice And Comfortable

The (PRODUCT) RED Apple Bumper is much better built than previous Bumpers. The rubber part seems and feels more sturdy than previous or other color versions. I really enjoy this Bumper and it's definitely for a great cause, so it's a win, win for me. It makes my iPhone into a (PRODUCT) RED iPhone :)

The Product Red Bumper sets itself apart from the rest. The Bumper cases for the iPhone 4/4S series shows the crisp and clean edges of simplicity while still displaying the shell and screen display without taking away from the clear images with a screen cover. While this case does not provide optimal protection, it does add a bit of class to the already amazing Apple iPhone and adds comfort while holding and using the iPhone. I've noticed this case also sets if self apart from other phone cases as well as other phones in general, continuing Apple's success of being a cut above the rest and different. If your thinking about getting it, get it. Give yourself something and show your friends the cool factor in iPhone. You won't regret it. Well done Apple.

Red colour remains cleaner than other colours I've owned in the past.

This is a great accessory for the iPhone 4S/4 but with Apple being the company that they are, one can expect a better quality offering. When its hard to tell the difference between knockoffs and the real thing and the real thing lasts just as long, something needs to change. With that said, the Bumper is a great addition to the iPhone for design and does protect the iPhone from small drops and falls. It also protects the backside and front from touching any flat surface. With the Bumper, its purely a users' preference of minimal vs protection. It's also quality vs price.
