Reviews for Apple Battery Charger

It's a nice, stylish compact unit, but when it comes to the crunch the experience is not so nice. The batteries that come with the charger are pathetic, lasting a lot less time than other rechargeable batteries, meaning you will be continually changing out the batteries in your mouse.

The charger itself (and I must admit this may be down to the poor quality batteries, I'm not sure of the technical details) does a poor job of charging the batteries, often charging them to an incomplete level. Right out of the box the charger from time to time would give a blinking orange light suggesting the official Apple batteries are incompatible (this is when the batteries are seated correctly).

In short, chances are you already own a battery charger, and you're thinking about getting this to compliment your Apple products. If that's the case, I'd say: don't bother. Stick with another charger.

This is a great charger that charges fast. It's compact, sleek and doesn't take up much room. But when I got it, it only came with 2 batteries, NOT 6. I'll be calling Customer Support on this one. But besides that, you should get this charger because its so great. (You Probably won't have the problem I have.)

I was very happy with this product. It worked as expected. The battery charge lasts a sufficient amount of time - although noticeably shorter than regular batteries. You just need to keep the 3 sets of batteries regularly charged as the batteries will lose their charge if they are just sitting around. For the affordable price - I would suggest getting two - if you have multiple Macs.

I bought the Apple Battery Charger a few months ago and have been very pleased with the performance.

I use the batteries in my Magic Pad and Magic Mouse and the charge lasts a good 3 -4 weeks before needing a charge. I use my Magic Mouse with my MacBook Pro on a daily basis and I am truly surprised at the length of time between charges.

The only issue I have is that the Apple does not see the batteries separately. Reading the Questions & Answers for the product, any good quality NiMH rechargeable batteries will work. Instead of wasting money with trial and error, I purchased a second Battery Charger. Glad I did as I now have at least 8 batteries always ready to use.

I bought this charger with 6 batteries, and started using one pair of them (after charging them for a few hours).

That was about 2 months ago, and I have NOT charged the batteries since then (I use them in my bluetooth keyboard).

This batteries looks like they last forever :P

Pretty recommended.

Quirky charger, batteries that discharge when just sitting idle. I bought three sets and all of the chargers are not working anymore. The yellow light keeps flashing.
Very disappointing product for an Apple.

I bought this charger on September 2010, along with my iMac and a Magic Trackpad. By that time, it was fairly new on the market, so I bought it with huge skepticism. I'm happy to report that I was wrong: these batteries last a very long time and they keep charging exceptionally well. It's been almost two years since I bought them, and I have charged them about 20-30 times... I guess it's because I only use them with my Wireless Keyboard, Magic Mouse and Trackpad, but still, they're the best batteries I have ever used. I can definitely recommend them!
