    Best Keyboard I Have EVER Used!!

    I bought this keyboard to use with my iPad and it works fantastic.It is also very light and sleek. I use it every day to type up my notes for class. I don't know how the batteries are because I have only had it about a week but I already love it.

    Bluetooth keyboard

    Well made product for the 'average' user although I have had no problems yet I am sure that with heavy use it will be more likely to fail in certain crutial ways.
    Otherwise its a great product.

    Cons: I wish it would turn on and off quicker because like most people, I dont like to wait.

    Fantastic

    Got the actual thing after replacing a knock off that kept dropping the signal. I can tell you this keyboard is perfectly spaced, the keys feel very nice and smooth, and it's some of the easiest typing I've ever done. Within the first hour of using it, it has become my favorite keyboard.

    Flawed Keyboard

    This keyboard looks great, and is a staple if you own any apple computer. But great looking is about as far as it goes. I have had nothing but constant problems with this keyboard - it takes forever to connect, or doesn't connect... or just plain old does whatever it wants (typing the same letter over and over again until I have to take the batteries out). I own two of these, and one of them has a battery permanently stuck inside. I know it's probably because the battery corroded, but why not try to make a little space to work with? Please don't sacrifice reliability for good looks.

    So, if you're like me and have to have all matching products, this is your only choice. But don't expect the quality of all other apple products, because this one is a lemon.

    FABULOUS!!!!

    I LOVE this keyboard. I was hesitant because of some reviews, but went ahead & deciede to get it and give it a try. I use it with my iPad 2 & iPhone. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! Yes, some of the functions on top row don't work, but was told at the apple store this may change with updates coming up later this fall. Either way, it does what I want. I type on my iPad virtual keyboard, but for documents/longer emails I prover to use a keyboard.
    One of my concerns is that it doesn't have a case and was wondering how I would protect it... well, they sell a case that fits PERFECTLY and is made for this keyboard. It's they Origami case by incase. That is definitely worth the purchase. It also serves as a dock for your ipad while you are typing,. I use it more for the protection of the case. It is made for the keyboard and snaps into place. Hope this review helps. :)

    Great product, but four little nits to pick

    The Apple wireless keyboard is a great product. Reliable. Useful. Compatible. Its software even tells you when the batteries are running low in plenty of time to replace them. I use my keyboard as part of a desktop setup with a MacBook and I've also used it with an iPad.

    What don't I like?
    1. No reminder on which way to insert the batteries.
    2. No number keypad.
    3. No "forward delete" key. You have to use FCN+DEL for forward delete.
    3. Can be just a bit dodgy on the initial pairing and the return pairing if the keyboard and its host machine have been separated.

    Amazing!

    This is a really excellent keyboard. I have it paired with my iPad (I'm using it to type this review) and it does the job quite well. The only issue I have is the fact that there are many useless buttons. I know this keyboard is for iMac, but they could at least make it so that the keys can be used. Also, it's really hard to tell whether it's on or off. Overall, well worth the price.

    Best Keyboard Ever

    I just finished cleaning up a full glass of water that spilled everywhere. This keyboard still works. I have spilled so much on it and I am ready to declare it waterproof. It is light, easy to type on, and looks great. The batteries last a while and it is convenient for travel if necessary. I love this keyboard and would never buy anything else now.

    Needs to have a numeric pad etc.

    I like the type-ability of this keyboard but it doesn't have a numeric pad like the USB-wired one does. This is really dumb. i use my keyboard for business and filmic needs and have to have a numeric keypad. I ended up going back to my old wireless one.

    Can't understand why there is no full sized wireless keyboard.

    im typing this review with this keyboard right now. Its amazing I love it, its smooth to type on and very light weight and small. Its also very portable i throw it in my bag and go. there is no lag from the second i tought a key it appears on the screen.

    My wifey just got this for me for Valentines Day!!!!!..
    She saw me suffering day in and day out with the iPad virtual keyboard (missing letters, etc.), and she surprised me with this...guys seriously, a monkey could set this up...just power it on, put BT on in your iPad, and it picks it up in 1 second, and your connected!....Nice job Apple.....Im typing right now it, and i havent missed any letters:))) wooohoooo.....(my MBP will be coming out less frequently especially now...)))))

    Poor layout, some keys gone missing

    This keyboard has only one Control key and that key is narrow and not in the lower-left corner. This makes editing in Emacs cumbersome.

    There are no page up/down keys. To scroll a text window by one page, one must hold the "fn" key and tap the up or down arrow key. This cannot be done with one hand, which makes it an accessibility issue.

    good keyboard, bad build

    i recently got a 27 inch iMac with the keyboard and trackpad, i thought they were both really great, i moved them a lot, because i was in the process of getting a new desk, i had it set up on a table in front of my bed, and when i moved the keyboard and pad from the table sometimes, i noticed chips in the aluminum body, in both the keyboard and the track pad. other than that, i thought they were pretty good.

    Apple keyboard and iPhone

    Works great and was easy to pair with the iPhone. It comes with batteries installed and ready to go. Took only about five minutes to go through the manual. Now, looking for a carrying case!

    Simply beautiful.

    I use the wireless keyboard for my iPad 2 and i had no trouble syncing it with my device. It is small enough to store in my desk, and light enough to put in my bag without me even noticing it. It is so thin yet it doesn't worry you it you drop it. I think that this is the best keyboard I have ever owned, and I have even bought them as presents for friends. Apple did an outstanding job with this.

    fantastic and lovely keyboard - on/off is a puzzle

    I use this keyboard with a laptop stand and it is lovely and wonderful. A cinch to set up.

    One line that should have been included in the documentation:
    To turn off the keyboard, hold down the on/off switch until the green light goes out.

    It wasn't obvious how to turn it off until I found the answer in a discussion group.

    Batteries get stuck!

    Be careful not to leave your batteries in too long. They will get stuck inside with no chance of removal. Particularly Lithium AAs.

    Love at first sight !!

    A few weeks ago when I had purchased my new Mac mini, I included the wired keyboard with numeric keypad.

    Immediately after using it, I realized how much better this keyboard is than my old one, so I placed an order for this wireless keyboard for use with my iPhone.

    Now, I simply mount my iPhone on a portable tripod and with this keyboard, I have a mini-computer!

    Typing in Pages or Numbers on my iPhone with this keyboard is just incredible!

    The keys click the moment they are pressed with such a satisfying sound that is music to my ears that encourages me to type faster.

    Apple has done such a perfect job with the quality of the aluminum base, this keyboard makes the others (made out of cheap plastic) look cheap in comparison.

    In other words, there is no competition!

    If you want the best, you found it -- just click to purchase like I did.
