    Doesn't work if you have a case on your phone

    The connector end can't slide in the phone far enough if you have a case (mine is even a Belkin case!) on your phone. I'll have to take it back. Very inconvenient to have to take the case off each time I charge in the car.

    Charger works great, but doesn't fit my case

    I absolutely agree with the other reviewer. The charger works well, but it is too big to fit into the phone case. It is a very poor design. I had to return mine, and will wait for another one that fits like the one included with the phone.

    Won't work with case

    Bought it for my wife. Doesn't work with her case.

    I'm not sure why they decided to make the grip around the lightening connector so much bigger than Apple’s.

    It wont last long

    I bought this charger and it only lasted 6 weeks. It got VERY hot. Now my iPhone will not stay charged as long as it used to. I have a suspiscion it may be due to this charger since it happened after using it.

    Great Charger for the Iphone 5

    I'm glad I waited for this charger. I have an OtterBox on my Iphone and I had no problems connecting the charger to the Iphone.

    Green light on charger will pulse when Iphone is charging.

    I'm pleased about the price from the Apple Store too.

    No good with Case

    The lightning connector is about 50% bigger then the Apple OEM one.
    Thus won't work with your case in place, and basically makes the connivence of this in the car... a major hassle to pull the case on and off in order to use it...

    Good charger

    This Is a good car charger for the iPhone 5 since this is one of the first to be made available since the iPhone's release. The charger cord is a bit long it is 4ft so it might be a problem to some but you could always keep some of it tied together with a twist-tie. The price isn't too bad either. Some people complain that it doesn't fit with their phone case on but you have to remember a lot if cases have different sized cut outs around the charging area. I have a Speck case and it fits perfectly :) I like the little green light that shows if the iPhone is charging.

    So happy to find this in stock at my local Apple store! I grabbed the last one! Don't understand all the bad ratings -- fits my case and my husband's case perfectly! Good job, Belkin! Also love the 4 ft. length cord!!

    Charger that actually fits my case

    This charger works great. I currently have the Speck CandyShell case on my phone and the connector fits perfectly. The cord is a little long for being a car charger, but that's not a deal breaker.

    I was excited to have finally bought a car charger for my iphone 5. Not too excited when I went to use it and I couldn't plug in into my phone with the case on. Too much of a hassle to have to take off the case every time I want to charge my phone. Im going to return and find one that will fit with my case.

    It is too Hot for Me

    I bought the Charger with the Lightning Connector to go with my new iPad, and it does charge. However, it became extremely hot after only 30 minutes. I am not sure that a charger should get so hot. The charger for my iPad 3, which I used for several hours while a passenger in a vehicle never got hot. I will nervously watch the new one closely when I use it the next time. I think Belkin makes superior products, so this could be a defective device.

    How dumb can Belkin be?

    This stupid charger doesn't fit into their own cases (Grip Candy Sheer, Grip Candy, Co-Mold etc.) I bought it as I already had a Belkin case expecting that a company would be detailed enough to ensure that all their products are compatible with each other.
    Shame on you Belkin!

    Running out of juice today so went to the apple store and bought it straight away. It works perfect for my ip5 in my car. The quality is so good. Did the job just like the wall charger. You can tell this from the estimated charging time - very close charging time as the original cable + adapter set! Love it and worth the expensive price. I give five star for the quality.

    No Coiled Cord

    Does not fit my case, also I do not need 4 feet of cord all over my console. Someone did not think this thru maybe a coiled cord would have been a thought. Sent mine back.

    I purchased this charger for my car about a month ago and now it does not even charge my phone. It was basically a waste of $30. It's imperative that I have a charger for my car as I travel 50 miles for work and this phone does not hold a charge for long at all.
