    LAME

Well I bought this thing even though the cost is a little outrageous and I actually liked it for a few weeks. That's how long it took to stop accepting a charge. I took it back to the Apple store where I bought it to return it and they said "sorry, 14 day return policy." Now I am stuck with it and hopefully I don't keep getting warranty replacements that only last a few weeks at a time.
Piece of junk, don't buy it.

Just sold it because it won't work with my new phone. I wish there was a trade in program. I really liked it, traveled all thru Africa and never worried about charging plus it offers protection. I dropped my phone several times and it survived unscathed. Just wish there was a IP5 version, now.

Very good product, I would think is the best portable charger on the market so far, comes charging from 0% to 90% with little use of the iphone, the only detail is that I bought the first play I change it to guarantee, it would not load, the second worked well and somewhat expensive but useful.

    Great Product...But

It looks great, feels fantastic and sounds like a great idea. But, here are some of the issues that I faced. A) the first juicepack plus that I bought turned out to have some problems with the standby switch and syncing with itunes (which i tried on the Macbook Air, A windows 7 laptop and a Windows 8 desktop just to be sure). B) In the exchanged piece, while the standby-power switch problem got resolved, the sync problem remained. Some folks online have complained about non-sync with itunes (some attributing it to ios 5 and above) which is one of the product's major pitches (canned air applied to the connector has been pitched as a possible solution but didn't work for me). So I would say if you want to buy the juicepack plus definitely a) test if the standby power mode is working correctly (try switching between them a few times to check, it should work seamlessly every time) and b) Check whether the USB sync works fine with your laptop (I actually bought my macbook air to the store where I bought it from to demonstrate the issue, but while they were courteous, they were stumped about this issue).

Two Batteries - Connectors Broke in Both

Good Batteries and Protection initially but eventually the connector plug became loose in both. First one the connector buried itself all the way into the battery so it was impossible to charge. Second one would only charge in MacPro but not recharge AC pack. I won't buy this product again

    Garbage Product

I absolutely loved this case, so much so that after my first one broke, I thought it was a fluke and bought a second. And then it had the exact same problem! The connecting comes loose, so it will not charge! Worked fine last night, then all of a sudden, can't take a charge no matter how many times I try to reposition the cord. Very dissatisfied. Trying a different brand this time!

    Great functional & protective case!!!

Although it seems some other users have had unlucky experiences with mophie's products, my wife and I have three juice packs, one plus, two airs and we have had no notable issues. The two pieces don't always align perfectly on some of the older designs but that has been rectified- even if it hadnt been, this was just a cosmetic issue.

On the airs, the top snap piece can be a bit loose at times, but I just put a couple sticky notes behind the phone and it fits much more snug! However, the plus fits perfectly and even more snug and I have no complaints whatsoever.

The mini USB ports on all three cases are fine, charges have been consistently accurate and helpful. From 10%, we can get up to about 80% with the airs and from fully dead to fully charged with some juice to spare with the plus! The plus isn't that much bigger than the air and the fit is a little better and its slightly more protective and shock absorbant, so I definitely prefer the plus!! I love them and highly recommend them. Nothing is worse than having your life on ur phone and having no access to any of it when you need it!!! Problem solved.

    MUST HAVE for iPhone..

Purchase mine over a week ago.
I've had 2 opportunities to use it & both worked brilliantly.
My phone was on 10% & I placed the iPhone into the case & switched the button to commence charging, it instantly started charging, by the time I got home it was still charging & was then on 60%.
I am on Facebook a lot... taking photos... or even listening to music all at once.
If you are also like that, I would highly recommend purchasing the Mophie Juice Plus!
Double maybe even triple the battery life!

USB Connector Broke - not worth the money

After just a couple weeks, just beyond the warranty period, the USB connector broke, so the device no longer can be charged. Not well constructed, to say the least.

I purchased this case for my iiPhone 4 and used it for 2 years. It was excellent - always worked, never had a problem. I am anxiously awaiting the release of the cases for the iPhone 5 - my phone feels completely naked without one.

    USB Connector broke...again

This model seems much more cheaply made and the charging port too delicate. I had one previously that, while it was slightly heavier, it seemed more durable. The charging connector broke on that one, but it broke when I dropped it pretty hard, so I can understand this. I've had this latest version for less than a month and I had merely plugged it in for a charge when it stopped making a connection. Now it won't charge at all. i've sent a claim to Mophie, so we'll see if they come through for me. The charging port is far to delicate to be effective over the long haul.

I've had two. The first was under 2 months old when it stopped charging. The charger would not stay plugged in. It took it back to AT&T and exchanged it for another (sill under warranty). Thought I just got a bad one the first time around, however the second proved that they are not well designed. The second is just over a year old and is now experiencing the same problem as the first did. It has always been a bit annoying to use because the usb charger was horrible to come unplugged, but at least it would charge. Now I have to hold the usb charger in the phone while it charges; if I let go, it stops charging. Juice Pack is a great idea poorly executed. I will not waste my money on another.

I loved never running out of a charge until I realized it's just poorly made. The Charging port has now broken on 3 different ones I have purchased - spent waaaay too much money with these guys. It's a shame. I haven't bought one for my 5 yet - jst can't shell out that ckind of money for a device that works at most 3 months....

I have to say it is easy to put on/take off and it keeps my iPhone 4 charged for about three days. So what is bad? The top is too big to fit my beats cable so whenever I listen to music I have to take off the top... Nuisance? Yes. Also it is a little big for an iPhone case and the back scratches easily. on the other hand I love it and def worth the money.

The charging case is beyond great when it works and the fact that the price is about the cost of a phone is crazy! However my charging piece never stayed on and now it has finally come off while I was out and is now lost what good is a charging case without the charging part? SO BAD DONT BUY THIS!

The charger works when the charging port on the Mophie is not brocken or loose. the Micro USB is touchy, and when it becomes loos after wear it has a tendency not to charge and you would have to purchase another. I had 2 one purchased and a warrantied item, and bothe had the same problem after about 18 months.

    Trouble with product/good customer service

I have had two of these now and I have had a little problem with battery either not charging or becoming very loose. The first one I would have to jam it into the phone with my thumb to get it to charge. Customer service at Mophie was great and they replaced it. The second one kept falling off and eventually I lost it so now I am stuck with the case minus the battery. I can't find a way to buy just the battery. If I could afford another I would buy it again, but . . . still thinking there must be something better.

Failed on first "charge" out of the box.

I should have listened to the reviews. I will be attempting to return this device tomorrow. Besides having no charge when I purchased it (the user manual says it comes fully charged and "ready to go!"), the battery will not charge for longer than a minute. I'm very disappointed in this product. Apple should definitely reconsider selling it in their stores.
