    Grenade

    This little grenade is amazing. Not only does it look amazing but it really gets the job done sound wise for its price and size. It just brings a smile to your face with the color and a great little gadget to have with you at all times!

    Amassing! you will be surprised how loud they are. The size is perfect for travel. Easy to use. I highly recommend it.

    Love it, works great. Just wish the volume was a little louder and you could charge it with a wall adaptor instead of having to plug into computer.

    Nice clean sound in a little package

    I'm amazed at the sound this speaker delivers. It serves its purpose for me, playing music outdoors while doing chores, listening to music while driving, or sharing music with friends from my iPhone...sure beats offering earphones if you know what I mean. It has rolled off my car dashboard on a few ocassions while making turns and the speaker survived those crashes to the floor...it's solid.

    I'd like to echo another review that the speaker reminds me of a grenade. It truly is a bomb, great value and great sound! Thank you Philips for this innovation.

    Awesome sound for such a small device! Sounds about the same as a JamBox but for a very reasonable price. I was definitely impressed by this little grenade.

    Not worth the trouble

    I liked the light weight and compact size of this but I kept having trouble with the computer not detecting the speaker. The music program, like iTunes, had to be closed, then I would sync the computer up with the speaker, then maybe the speakers would be detected and be able to play music. If I moved the speaker more than two feet away, it wouldn't be detected and would stop playing the music (two feet isn't worth the wifi price; I was hoping I could leave my laptop on the bed while the speaker was at least across my bedroom). Also, for $50, I found the sound quality very tin-y, and I'm not even much of an audiophile. I returned them to find something better for the price.

    Excellent small speaker

    I was not sure I wanted to get this at first because I know how limited small speakers are but I am impressed with the performance. Like others said, you cannot compare this to large speakers, but this does work very well for what it's for.

    The size is much smaller than I anticipated. It's maybe the size of a large lemon or an apple.

    The setup was extremely easy and fast. If you have set up any bluetooth device, this is just as easy or easier.

    The sound was clear and crisp. There was a good amount of bass. And it was loud enough.

    The performance and portability with the ease of use makes this a very useful speaker to use with the iPhone around the house or even when going out to the park or maybe visiting a hotel.

    great for what I bought it for

    I bought this to be able to listen to podcasts in my car and at my desk. I have an itouch and i phone. I wanted to listen to german language podcasts and audiobooks in my car on the way to work and back. This serves that purpose. You can hear music fine, but for the expert, it may not be good enough. I am very pleased with my purchase.

    Excellent Portable Speaker

    I wasn't expecting much with a $50 bluetooth speaker, but was blown away when I received it. The speaker not only connects and works well with the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, it actually sounds amazingly well for its small form factor. It has great bass response, and is loud enough to hear in a slightly noisy, large room. I've been using it for a few days now, and I can honestly say that it's my favorite accessory for my iOS devices.

    As an added benefit, the device can double as a speakerphone for those long phone calls - there is a small microphone port on the back side of the device that can be used while on phone calls.

    Fabulous little gem!

    Most smaller speakers I've ever purchased all sound the same - that typical small speaker sound... Think most people know what I mean. This little speaker obviously can't compete with a full fledged sound system, but it does astoundingly well! It's a durable little thing too, & I sometimes clip it onto my jeans when I'm running around cleaning or something. It doesn't have that typical small speaker sound, & it has a pretty decent battery life. The Bluetooth between the speaker & my 4S is seamless, & both react/respond to each others' controls (there are very basic control capabilities for music start/stop & call features on the speaker) quickly & efficiently. The small size makes it perfect for always-on-the-go people like me; it fits right in my purse or clips to my jeans or where ever I might need to attach it. Highly portable & convenient. My fiancé is purchasing one of his own in green color now that he's seen how well mine works. I will definitely recommend this product to friends & family. Glad I found it!
