Is the Bose SoundDock II compatible with the 4th generation iPod Touch?
- Asked by David B from Albany

Best AnswerBefore buying it I called Apple Support and they confirmed it is compatible. Same thing said Bose. My experience is that it works, but you have to remove any IPod case protection you may have and pull it a little hard into dock. Once you hear a beep, you will find it working OK. I have both, portable and AC powered, and both are terrific! Just be careful when placing it into dock. And as per the message " This is not compatible...", don't worry, I got it with the brand new Apple Universal dock too LOL.
Enjoy the sound of both, Apple + Bose = it Rocks!- Answered by Ruben M

Will "aux in" work with my macbook? Has anyone tried this?
I've tried another speaker dock (Phillips) and it wouldn't work with laptops, just other mp3 players. Also tried JBL Onstage IIIp (two of them) and they wouldn't work with my iphone.

AnswerYes! It works great. Just make sure you have a 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable so that you can connect them together.

Has anyone used the Bose sound dock with the 7th generation Ipod Nano and if so, what do you think? Thanks.
- Asked by Irma M from San Antonio

Best AnswerErin, I bought the Sound Dock II and the 30 pin lightning connector and my nano worked fine for a short while. When it quit working I went to return the dock and it was the lightning pin that was defective. However, I was told that because the nano has bluetooth that a Bose with bluetooth would be better so we bought the Bose SoundLink Bluetooth Mobile Speaker II and it works great. And no pin needed! Hope this helps. Irma
