The case is not redesigned for lightning, isn't it?
- Asked by Abdulkadir E

Best AnswerWell, not really, but according to the bottom of the page, it shows that this cover is compatible for the iPad 4th Gen, which uses the Lightning Port. To me, it looks like it will still work, but is really meant for the 30-pin adapter, so there will be a lot of empty space around the Lightning Port that was meant to fit the original 30-pin.

Use water with a bit of mild detergent/soap, applying it with a soft, lint-free cloth. Then quickly wipe it dry. Do not use any abrasives or harsh chemicals.

Will the sharp edges of the case be a safety issue if my children are using it or is it simply a comfort issue?
- Asked by Carole D K from Vegreville

AnswerNo they are not sharp like that. More like an old trapper keeper (if you remember those) or a plastic 3 ring binder but not as sharp. Not sharp enough to do any harm.

AnswerHi, no it doesn't - I made the mistake of buying one and it will only cover the ipad, not keyboard.

is the ipad smart case compatible with the otterbox?
I just purchased an ipad2. I would like the otterbox for protection but I also want the front cover of the smart case. Are they compatible?
- Asked by Kasi R from Pensacola
- Nov 25, 2012
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerI assume you mean the otterbox defender. I don't see how they could be compatible. The otterbox defender completely encloses your ipad, including the screen (it has a clear front so you can use the touchscreen without removing the case). You would have to take it off to open and close the front cover of the smart case. Same issue with the griffin survivor case.

Does the light gray iPad Smart case (polyurethane) attract dirt?
I love the light gray Smart Case but I don't want to get it if it's going to show dirt and stains more than the dark gray or the pink. I have the iPad 3.
- Asked by Alyssa A from Truckee
- Jun 23, 2012

Best AnswerYES indeed it does! If you are inquiring about the light grey one like the color of light concrete sidewalk- then yes it does. I have had it for about 4 months. I really love the case and still glad I got that color. But just so you know, it defiantly attracts just wear and tear dirt. Not like the bright blue one I got my mom and dad. Annnnnnd I'm a avid hand washer and don't have kids and it still gets dirty!! Good luck!
