AnswerI attempted to use the Xfiniy app via my iPad2 and the video did not connect through my TV. I was successful with streaming content from my Netflix app. Apparently it does not appear that Xfinity is yet formatted for this AV Cable.

Best AnswerYes! This cable is perfect for watching content off of the iTunes store. If you have an HDTV, I would recommend buying the HD content, as it is much sharper and of higher quality than standard videos.

Will this work for karaoke purchases on iPhone?
I have a karaoke player that has an auxilary spot you can plug in or you can plug in rca cables like the red yellow and white wondering if I got this if I could hook this into iPhone and if it would show lyrics if I were to purchase karaoke on itunes.

Best AnswerAll of the Apple portable devices output an analog signal rather than a digital signal. To get the best quality sound, you should turn the volume all the way up on the iPhone (or iPad, iPod, etc.), and adjust the listening volume using the stereo. In general, sound quality will be limited by the type of file - MP3 and other compressed formats will limit fidelity. Thus, for playing via a stereo I suggest storing Apple Lossless versions of your music on a computer running iTunes. If you want 'audiophile' grade sound, you should add an external digital to analog converter with a computer interface (like USB) rather than use the circuits built into the portable device.

Best AnswerI would like to know if anyone has been able to achieve this. Here is the Slingbox support site answer regarding this:
"If you're using SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone/iPod touch, be aware that there is no TV-out feature. The same is true with SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad.
This means that there is no provision, within either SlingPlayer Mobile for iPhone/iPod touch or SlingPlayer Mobile for iPad, for connecting your device to a TV or a computer monitor and displaying the SlingPlayer Mobile picture.
You can use the audio-out jack on your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad to play audio through another device, however."

Best AnswerNo, Mac laptops do not have an iPod dock type jack. The USB connector on this cable is for providing power to a device and will not provide an audio or video output from a computer.
