Which cables do I need to hook up a macbook to a macbook pro?
I own a macbook and just bought a macbook pro and was wondering which cables to buy to use the old macbook as an external display. I've seen people use two laptops and drag a program from one screen to another but I have no idea what I need in order to do that. Would really appreciate some help! Thanks

How do I connect a 2011 27" LED cinema to a MACPRO with DVI port (2007)
I have a MACPRO 2 X 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon 2 Processors 4 Cores L2 Cache 4MB per processor July 2007 with a DVI port and want to purchase and connect a 2011 27" LED CINEMA with (I believe) a Mini DisplayPort

what is the downside to this being digital only rather than digital and analog?
From what I have read this is a DVI-D adapter (Digital signal only). What is the downside to this only transfering digital signal? Does this mean it wont play movies on the external LCD?

how can i hook up my playstation 3 and macbook pro?
i bought a mini dvi to hdmi converter that says it will accept input and output, so how would i play my playstation off the macbook? i have tried connecting the two and turning them both on and nothing happens.
