Does the mighty mouse come with a longer cord?

I know there is always the option to go wireless, but I do prefer a cord on my mouse. Its way to short though.

can i use a wired mouse and wireless mouse on my computer

My wife hates the wireless mouse as the connectivity drops out regularly and she wants a wired mouse.
I hate the use of a wired mouse and love the wireless mouse when it works, usually problems after 6 months.
Can i have both connected at the same time and the user can just choose which mouse to use when they commence a session.
