Will it work with CIBC?

Some (but not all) Canadian banks allow customers to download their transactions in formats which can be imported by iBank. If CIBC offers any of these file types (QIF, QFX, CSV or OFX), you can use iBank's built-in browser to get your transactions via the web download method, and then easily import them into iBank.
CIBC (like most Canadian banks) does not support Direct Connect, typically used in the U.S. for automatic downloading. Some large American banks charge monthly fees for this service, so even many iBank users in the U.S. rely on the web download process outlined above as it imposes no extra cost.
