A Time Capsule will back up any Mac(s) on your network. Just open Time Machine on each Mac and point it to the Time Capsule (via the Preferences).

You can back up your iPad, iPhone, etc. to a Mac via syncing it to iTunes. Thereafter, everything in iTunes will be backed up to Time Capsule, just like any other file on your Mac.

There's no backup support in Time Machine / Time Capsule for PCs.

  • No, a PC can not use Time Machine to backup.
