Does this speaker work after iOS 6 update?

I almost bought this before, but I chose a Panasonic speaker instead, because it has a remote and the price was about the same. Since updating to iOS 6, my iPod completely ignores my speaker dock (e.g. no charging, no sound). Without verifying compatibility, I'm afraid to buy this one as a replacement.
