Ni midi. However, i highly recommend getting the duet 2 and a midi/usb converter and using that as opposed to the mbox(any of them). The preamps and converters from any apogee product blow the mbox out of the water in every way. Midi is midi and it doesnt matter what you use as long as it makes it to the computer. I'd rather record with the duet 2 and logic any day than with mbox and PT. Duet 2 is what i have now and i've owned the mbox so im speaking from experience.

  • For an all-in-one solution, the Mbox (3rd Generation - shown here) is by far the best bang for your buck. The convertors / mic pre's are seriously higher in quality than the older mboxes.

  • No, it doesn't have midi in/out.
