Can I take a photo with this on photo booth? Also can I use this to start to record a video and stop recording on photo booth???

No- I just tested and the remote has no functionality in photo booth

No (just tested on a 13" MacBook Pro/Snow Leopard). The remote has not effect on Photo Booth.
