can you go to the previous web page?

with the mouse supplied with my iMac, I can't go to the previous web page using the mouse. will the new one let me do this?

  • You CAN go to the previous web page with your existing mouse. In System Preferences make sure you have secondary click enabled, then when you are on a webpage right-click on any non-text area and you'll get a pop-up menu with a 'back' option. I use this all the time.

    The web page for the Magic Mouse clearly shows that you can use two-fingered gestures for forward/backward in Safari and iPhoto.

    Yes, you can do a two-finger swipe on the new Magic Mouse for back and forward using Safari.
