I bought the M9321G/B for my iMac (Intel) and it doesn't fit in the port. The hole is just a little too small. OK to expand the hole?

Answer
No! Never ever ever physically modify a port on your computer if something doesn't fit in it. Most likely you bought the wrong cable, if your mac was made after early 2009, you probably need a "mini Display Port to DVI Cable". Search this website for MB570Z/A
