Has anyone compared VMWARE to PARALLELS? I've been using VMware for some time now and it does everything I need it to do.
I have been perfectly happy with VMWARE as a virtual machine on my Mac for installing Windows. Is there anything that Parallels gives me that VMware doesn't? It was simple to install and set up and install my Windows application. I run Windows like simply having another application running on my desktop, easily work in both systems simultaneously, transfer information back and forth with simple cut and past, etc.

Do I need to have Windows or can I just use VMware Fusion 5 as is. I had trouble with Parallels 7 and Windows 8 Mac Pro. It just didn't work.
