Some places list the ear-fitting as Over-the-Ear, others list it as On-Ear. Do these headphones sit on the ear or are they able to "cup" around it?

They just sit on the ear, the headphones are not large enough to cup the ear. They sit comfortably on though

they go on ear but are still very confy and great for long listening times
