  • Yes, if you have a 2011 or later Mac Mini then it will support Thunderbolt.

    Thunderbolt allows up to 6 devices to be daisy chained from the one port.
    Tests have shown that 3 Hard Drives and 1 Display coming from the one port causes ZERO drop in performance, however 2 or more displays can cause reduced speeds for the drives.

    Access to this drive can be given the same as any external drive.
