According to compatibility, these Bower & Wilkins C5 In-Ear headphones will not work with IPod Touch 2nd generation. Is this correct?

I have the first generation iPod Touch and they work great! However, only the volume control buttons on the headphones don't work. But you can control the volume from your iPod, so I'm pretty sure they should work with the iPod Touch second generation.
