It fits perfectly and helps a lot when lil hands are using it. The leather isn't durable enough to withstand the wear and tear long term. My daughter broke it when pulling it out of my purse by the strap guess I'll buy another one.

It's an accident waiting to happen. It can easily be slipped off by hand and eventually, it will slip off by itself or tear, sending your expensive Touch to the ground. Avoid it. Maybe eventually Apple will secure it with an eyelet like cameras have.

Because my experience has shown that the loop is plenty durable, and doesn't come off. Works great when using the iPod touch as a camera.

  • Slips off the pop-up post

I slipped the loop over the tiny post on the back of my Touch 5g and pulled it tight. But when I saw that I could remove the loop I slipped the loop over the tiny post on the back of my Touch 5g and pulled it tight. But when I saw that I could remove the loop simply by pushing it away from me--with one hand and with the post in open or closed position--I immediately dropped any thoughts of using it. The loop is impractical, and its "style" is unlikely to impress anyone beyond the age of 16.

What's most disappointing is the cost of engineering and inserting that little pop-up post--an expensive waste of the consumer's--and of Apple's designer's--time. How much better if the space had been used for a slightly larger battery. (At the 3-year mark, mine is down to no more than a couple of hours. I'm anxiously awaiting a new iPod Touch--without a "pop-up post" and with a longer lasting battery!)
