    Unlike the reviewers before me, I have actually used the Smart Cover. Seriously, how can you write a review about something that hasn't been sold yet?

    The case does a great job in protecting the screen.
    The magnets work well - my iPad Mini has turned on and off correctly every time.
    The cover works well as a stand...not terrific but okay.
    The red is a great colour.

    If you're looking for something to provide all over protection, this likely wont work for you but as a cover for your Mini screen, it does the job.     …More

However, the IPad mini slipped from my hand while taking pictures, and I grabbed onto the cover, but of course, the magnet did not hold and the NEW IPad mini fell to a concrete floor and dented the side slide button and up volume button, making them unusable.
