Don't buy the MAC version! Worst Customer Service EVER!
One thing no one tells you when you purchase this program is that the number of transactions it holds is extremely low and once it One thing no one tells you when you purchase this program is that the number of transactions it holds is extremely low and once it reaches the limit (with no notification to you) the data becomes corrupt and parts of the file fragment and your reports will not longer tie to the balance sheet and you will not be able to use the program effectively. Customer service for QuickBooks for MAC is ONLY offered by techs in India-there are none in the US-I asked. While they try to be accommodating, the language barrier makes it hard to communicate the problem and get things properly resolved. Do yourselves a favor and do not purchase the MAC version of the program. Run the Windows version using Parallels. You'll be very happy that you did. I am not the only one to have this problem. I've had clients with the same problem and same issues I've had trying to resolve it. …

The sync with Contacts does not work at all and Intuit blames that on Apple.
Forget about backing up to anything other than your HD or Time Capsule. The program only sets up a disc dmg on other devices. …
