For years my arm has been getting more and more uncomfortable when I do my graphics work. I thought it is just a normal consequence of using a computer all day long and maybe I have to accept it. Then I saw this Vertical Mouse. At first I thought it is too weird, but I was getting desperate for a solution so I got one to try. It came in a cheap box but the product looks well made. It connected via Bluetooth and I downloaded the software. The setup went smoothly. At first the grip position felt strange but I got used to it in a couple days. Amazingly my arm felt more relaxed almost immediately. It has only been a week but the tension is mostly gone and I continue to feel better. I even like the styling now. I'm so glad I got this thing! …

I got the bluetooth version and thinking how I am very tech savvy I would be able to solve any problems with bluetooth that other people had. Didn't happen. The problem is with Apple, not with this mouse and there is nothing that can be done (unless Apple does something).
On the up side - Evoluent customer support is beyond amazing and they were quick to send me a new mouse (2x times! - first time I wanted to make sure it's not the mouse but bluetooth, second time they sent me the dongle version - which now works flawlessly).
As for the mouse - I think that like all ergonomically things it is individual, what works for whom. For me it works great.
I would highly recommend trying this mouse to see if it helps you.
Other than that - the overall impression is that the mouse is sturdy and very well made. …

Mouse Yes - Bluetooth No...

However, after two hours I returned my Bluetooth version of this mouse and purchased the alternate wireless version from another online vendor.
Like so many other reviewers of the Bluetooth version of this mouse, I experienced significant, annoying connection problems. The continuous "on-again off-again" Bluetooth connection was simply too disruptive to my workflow.
The mouse feels absolutely great in my hand and I appreciate the several programable buttons and the easy to use settings.
I read somewhere that the Bluetooth circuits may have been recently improved, so perhaps I received a slightly older version of this mouse; the one I received was in definite need of Bluetooth improvement!
I do highly recommend this ergonomic mouse - just not the Bluetooth version, unless it has since been improved.
I give the ergonomic/programable aspects five stars and the Bluetooth circuits one star - for a combined average of three stars. …

Don't buy it, don't pay attention to paid reviews

I I bought this from the Apple retail store, worked great for the first few weeks. After that the battery kept dying within days. I needed to change the battery even after minimal use for a day to two, and it wouldn't get any better. I used alkaline (duracell), as indicated by the manufacturer.
Don't buy it, you will regret it. I still use a logitech wireless mouse with 2X AA batteries. It lasts for 3-5 months, with daily use. Been using it for the past four years. …
