PureSound white noise filtering
All in-ear headphones (wired or wireless) create white noise, which over time results in listener fatigue. JayBird's on-board filtering system, called PureSound, filters out and eliminates the white noise to give you a clean audio experience. This is especially helpful for long workouts when you've turned up the volume to motivate yourself.
Playtime to up to eight hours
Though they're among the smallest Bluetooth buds available, BlueBuds X pack an impressive eight hours of playtime—double the duration that was previously possible from such a small design. These headphones are incredible! I bought them to replace a pair of Motorola Bluetooth headphones that I bought on Amazon. I'm a n extremely heavy sweater and the Motorola's stopped working after only two weeks. I've had the JayBirds for almost a year and a half and they're still going strong!
First, they almost never fall out of your ear. I do a lot of Crossfit and the only time they start to come loose is when I'm jumping rope for an extended period of time. The "waffles" really help hold them in place.
Next, they stand up to excessive sweat extremely well. I'm in the Army and was deployed to the Middle East for the last eight months, through the summer months when the average temperature was over 120 degrees. And through that heat and my sweat, these headphones still work with zero issues.
They also work okay across a gym. I can set my iPhone down next to a rack and walk around the gym pretty freely without losing quality or the connection.
The only reason that I gave them four stars and not five is because there isn't a battery indicator on them. So you may end up losing music in the middle of your workout due to the battery dying. But honestly, that's more my problem than the headphones - I could have charged them every three or four days regardless of whether or not they needed to be charged.

Best BlueTooth Headphone....ever!
I had 2 S9s and 2 S10HDs both died due to sweat. I HATE, HATE Wired headphone because I primarily use my headphone during workout sessions. This BlueBuds X is by far has the best sound, comfort & battery life. You have to try different ear piece to find what fits for you (takes me a day or two). The sound quality (deep base) rivals any wired headset and there is no 'wearing' fatigue like with other headphones. Most other headphones, I have to max out the volume, you won't have to with this one unless you want to go deaf. As an Electronic Engineer, I am quite impressed with how small the battery is for the 8 hrs of play time. The weight to battery life ratio is quite amazing.
I have iPhone 4S with iOS 6.0.1 and I have to DISABLE WIFI so that the music doesn't cutout for a second every so often. This is iOS 6 WiFi, BlueTooth problem and not the headphone's (have similar problem with Wireless Beats also). Google iOS 6 Bluetooth (or Wifi) problems for yourself and see. Come on! Apple you have got to fix this problem or this can turn to the 'iMap' fiasco I can see it now 'iPhone, iPad are great if you don't want to use BlueTooth features). Wireless Beats & BlueBuds work great on Android phones with out any problem so I am certain it's not the headphones. …- Written by Hung N from Tallahassee

Very well done
I must own 30 sets of headphones. For running i've tried everything but i HATE the cord tangle that goes with all of them. i tri ed a few bluetooth versions but they were not stable or didn't stay in the ear or gave pretty poor sound. These guys seemed to have nailed it!
Works well. Fits well (make sure you experiment to get the tips and the wings just right for you). It makes a big difference in the amount of sound that goes in (especially during activity).

The price to pay for freedom
After getting an iPhone 5 and having to deal with the (misplaced) headphone jack on the bottom always getting in the way, I couldn 't take it any longer so I looked for a wireless headset. I came across these and was shocked by the price, but realized it was a small price to pay to not deal with that cord getting tangled up and yanked on all the time.
At first I was impressed with the sound, the weight, size, but the ear buds didn't fit well and it was impossible to get a good seal without them falling out all the time. I was about it call it quits on these, when I found some after market earphone tips from a company called Comply. Not only did the new tips make these fit properly and keep the headphone from slipping out all the time, they improved the sound quality significantly as well as improved the isolation. If you can afford these, they are well worth the price, but some aftermarket earphone tips are a must to make these shine.

I bought these headphones mostly for the gym, however little did I know that they would become my go-to pair for everything. The b luetooth works well, the sound quality is great, the bass is not too heavy so you can turn up the volume without getting a headache. The battery level indicator on my iPhone 5 is awesome (my bro wishes he had that feature on his bluetooth Beats) and they last around 6hrs with a full charge, like 3 gym sessions for me.
If you want these for the gym: There are clamps you can put on that make the headphones perfect for runs and very movement-heavy exercises. I sweat a lot and have had these for 4 months and theyre like new!
If you want them for everyday use: I have mine connected to my iPad and MacBook Pro all the time and they work just fine, connecting them is not hard at all. Being a college student, I use them during walks and I love that they dont have cords.

Bluetooth Headphones like these use an A2DP protocol to send sound to your device. Blue tooth 4.0 is used to connect devices such as heart monitors and pedometers.
