Awesome device
I have had my FuelBand since April 2012 and wear it, shower with it every day and never had one issue. Light, comfortable, and st ylish. I use it as a watch and to motivate me to meet my active goals I set for myself. I also found that I can monitor my sleeping habits by the activity monitor on the iPhone. I sent a note to Nike that I wished I could display the date as well, and they were more than helpful and added my request as a possible future upgrade. I really can't say anything bad about this device. I am still amazed at how long a charge lasts. I must charge it once every 3-4 weeks and that only takes about an hour. …

It's okay, but kinda like an overpriced pedometer
I have the black version of the FuelBand and while it's a cool product. It's an overpriced pedometer in the end.
Worth $150, p robably not. Easy to use? Definitely. Accurate? Not really. Reminds me to be active? Yep.
Long story short?
If you are looking for a cool tech gadget that will remind you to be active every day and have the money, get it. Keep in mind though you can get a pedometer for $10 to do the same thing.
If you are looking for something that is accurate and a good value, this is probably not the device you want to buy. I prefer accuracy over being reminded to be active. …- Written by Colin S from Mission Viejo

disappointment
Bought this product after waiting for it to hit Canada. It is very addictive as is mentioned in one one of the other reviews. Howe ver for the big price tag would expect it to last for more than three months. The thing now expects me to factory install it every two days to update the daily total. On top of that Nike takes four weeks to replace if they feel it is defective which one of there techs. have decided it was over the phone not the first one I guess. I will definitely not be replacing it or buying any Nike tech. again. I hope one of the other brands have there act together will buy them before another one of these. …

Not worth the money
If you want something to remind you to be active then buy it. But it only works for running, walking and if your moving with your arms. If you want it to measuring biking or stair climber your out of luck. The worst $150 I have ever spent. A pedometer would be MUCH cheaper and do the same thing. …

Addictive and worth it.
I consider myself the opposite from active, but I really wanted to try it out. It's very addicting. I started off being below my g oal the first couple of days. As the week went on I became more obsessed with reaching my goal and getting higher scores than my Facebook friends that also had a fuel band. I love it. It's getting me up and moving just a little bit more a day. You don't have to love working out to love this band. …

If you move your arms - or specially the arm with the band on - then yes, your effort is measured. I t's not magical, it uses movement sensors. So walking will earn you points, but cycling won't - unless you wave your arms wildly when cycling :-) …

Can the Nike+ Fuelband be used around an ankle to better monitor activity?
- Asked by Donald D from Pittsford

Answer
According to the Technical specs ALL three sizes are 172 mm / 6.7 inches in circumference. Obviously an error somewhere... This is about my wrist size, so I doubt if even the extra large will go around an ankle. …
