I bought a Blue SC about a year ago and have been very pleased but when I ride, I crash. A lot. I'm not super comfortable with my iPhone mounted on my handlebars so the RFLKT is the perfect fix. It's like Wahoo Fitness read my mind but even I didn't know what I was thinking. Now I can crush the trails without worrying about crushing my phone. Slay the brown pow without fear, get a RFLKT.

    In all seriousness:

    Pros:
    -Music control
-Customizable data fields, layouts, and buttons
-Can display almost any data you could want
-Can store my phone in my camelback
    -Longer iPhone battery life
-Multiple mounting styles (included a Garmin twist mount... strange but awesome!)
    -Compact
    -Backlight for night rides

    Cons:
-Rubber band for the mount snapped. Would recommend zip-ties instead
    -No text/caller id/email alerts
-Takes a little toying with to get set up (via the app) but it's a set-it-and-forget-it kind of thing.

I like the ability to customize the screens, the ability to keep the iPhone more secure (not mounted on handlebars), and the compact design. I had a bear of a time getting it to not freeze during the first 15 rides. It would just stop reading the iPhone data from Runmeter. When I finished riding, after a minute or so, it would usually give me the summary after I had selceted DONE on the iPhone app. Wahoo customer service is terrible, and Abvio (Runmeter) is not alot better. Yesterday I downloaded a firmware update for the RFLKT and for the first time in a month it made it through the ride reporting data in real time. If it continues to not freeze, it will be a great investment. If not, it makes a great activity (cycling) very frustrating, kind of the opposite you want to to feel on the bike.

  • What I have been waiting for

I have been stalking the RFLKT since before its release. I had been using a Lifeproof mount and case. I was always a bit dissati I have been stalking the RFLKT since before its release. I had been using a Lifeproof mount and case. I was always a bit dissatisfied with the largeness of my phone mounted on the bars and especially frustrated with the enormous drain on the battery if I wanted to monitor my stats real-time while on the road. This device solved my problems.

I now can keep my phone safe in my jersey. I just finished a 2 hr. ride and still have 61% battery power left (I started my ride with 82%) This includes running the Blue HR monitor as well as the Blue SC speed and cadence sensor. I was also running Pandora the whole time. If I was using my phone's display, I would have been outta juice at mile 10. The RFLKT is everything you need and nothing you don't.

The lone bad review sites challenges dismounting the unit from the bar mount on which it is attached from the factory. This is a bit of a challenge, but if you use the included spudger tool and practice a little patience and common sense, this is not that big of a deal. Also, the loading screen displayed as your unit updates the software is not that bad. I might check my internet speed if I were having significant issue. This is assuming the individual unit being reviewed was not a rare dud from Wahoo.

I have used several Wahoo products, the quality is always great, they function with little headache and they are a great value for the $$. This is my experience.

Aside from poor updates from Wahoo (recent b I have owned a rflkt and rflkt+ and in both cases they did not last more than a year. Aside from poor updates from Wahoo (recent battery error update took over a month before wahoo acknowledged the issue and fixed it) they are very cheap in build quality and only work when they feel like it. If you are thinking about one of these take it from an avid cyclist - don't buy one! Just use your iphone or get a Garmin. Too bad I really liked the cyclemeter App!!

Great for my needs and definitely looks beautiful on the bike.
