That's how long it Well I bought this thing even though the cost is a little outrageous and I actually liked it for a few weeks. That's how long it took to stop accepting a charge. I took it back to the Apple store where I bought it to return it and they said "sorry, 14 day return policy." Now I am stuck with it and hopefully I don't keep getting warranty replacements that only last a few weeks at a time.
Piece of junk, don't buy it. …

Fast forward to the Juice Pack Plus for my 5s. It does NOT have data pass-through so I'm constantly having to take my case apart to listen to music in my car or on my portable radio, and the case just doesn't feel as 'solid'.
No data pass-through is the biggest let down for me. …

Mine lasted 2 days!

I had to remove the phone and reattach Worked fine for a day but the next time I went to charge it, it simply would not charge up. I had to remove the phone and reattache the two parts several times. It was hit and miss to get it to start charging (without the phone) and I don't like the idea of having to fiddle with what should be a simple process. The connectors seem flimsy and I don't think it will stand the test of time - well after 2 days is certainly did not. An expensive piece of rubbish! I regret not reading these reviews first. Why does Apple keep a product that so many clients have complained about? Clearly this product has design flaws. …

What this means is that to sync your phone, plug into media port in your
car or to connect your iphone to any other service that requires pass through
to the apple port you need to remove the bottom of the battery pack.
I think this is a cheap design and charging $100 for this is inexcusable other
than the fact consumers (including myself) will pay for this junk.
Other than that the battery works and does extend the phone minutes.
But apple users expect more. …

The Plus has a 2000mAh capacity (at 5V, that’s 10Wh), while the Air has a 1600mAh capacity (I think? that or 1500. I forget) which is 8Wh. So if the Plus charges your phone from 0-100%, then the Air will only go from 0-80%. In return for this, the Air is thinner as there’s less battery to stuff in and to match its more stylish appearance, the band around he edge is covered in metallic paint (which will peel off with use in time). There’s also the price difference for the different sized batteries. …
