Items purchased at the Apple Online Store between October 31, 2009 and December 24, 2009, may be returned through January 9, 2010. Please note that all other terms and conditions provided in the Apple Online Store Sales and Refunds Policy are still applicable with respect to such items purchased, including the assessment of a 10% restocking fee on any open box item. All purchases made after December 24, 2009 are subject to the standard Apple Online Store Sales and Refunds Policy, which requires returns to be made within 14 calendar days of the date of receipt. For more information, refer to the Apple Online Store Sales and Refunds Policy.

Returns are subject to the Apple Online Store Sales and Refunds Policy. For iPhone returns, please refer to the iPhone return policy. For eligible Mac, iPod, and third-party products, you have up to 14 calendar days from the time you receive your item(s) to initiate a return. A 10% restocking fee will be assessed for opened items. Shipping fees are not refundable.
Items that cannot be returned include:
* You may return software after rejecting the licensing terms, provided the software is not installed on a computer. However, software that contains a printed software license may not be returned if the seal or sticker on the software media packaging is broken.
Note: If you need assistance or do not have an Apple ID, please call
Items in your order will be divided into two groups — items that are eligible to be returned online and items you cannot return. For each item that you can return online, you will need to select the item, a reason for return, and whether you’ve opened the box. We’ll provide you with an estimated total refund amount less restocking fees, as applicable. You’ll also be able to print a return shipping label to place on the box you use to return your item(s).
Once you’ve submitted your return request, you’ll receive an email confirmation with your return details. You are responsible for shipping the items back to Apple, including shipping fees. If you have multiple items to return, you may put them together in one box with the packing slip. We strongly recommend using the original packaging if you are returning a computer.
Items(s) must be received by the Apple returns center within 14 calendar days from when the return was requested.
Once we receive the item(s) we’ll process the return, issue a refund, and send you a return receipt confirmation email.
Your refund will be issued after we receive your item(s) at the Apple returns center. The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method.
