    The SkyDock is "super cool!" as my wife likes to say. It's the best satellite radio experience yet. They made it incredibly easy to setup. Plug the SkyDock into the cigarette adapter. Plug your iPhone into the SkyDock. Tune your FM radio to 88.1. At this point you can already play your iPod library or any streaming radio app through the FM transmitter. It's that easy! To get XM satellite radio, just a few more steps. Plug in the antenna. Download the free SkyDock app from the AppStore. Call or go online to setup your account. That's it! The SkyDock app is very polished and is really easy to navigate while driving. If your looking to add satellite radio to your car and you already have an iPhone/iPod Touch, the SkyDock is absolutely the best way to go!! …More

    A great product. The sound quality using the recently FCC approved XM PowerConnect technology is amazing. Coupled with the free XM Sirius application on your iTouch, it's very user friendly, with far more features than any other XM/Sirius radio on the market.     If you do not already have an iPhone integrated into your car, this is perfect. The iPhone app lets have the most updated interface and options, it plays everything, and the built in XM Satellite tuner is a plus.

    Horrible Reception

    I was able to use the skydock in my BMW 525 despite what other BMW owners have mentioned. XM was difficult to get on the phone to initially get the service working. They couldn't identify my radio ID but initially but eventually got it working. My issue now is the reception. Even with the antennae on the roof, the service is intermittent. I never had this problem with my old starmate on sirius. I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I am considering sending the skydock back and cancelling the service. When it works, it's great, it's just my service is so sporadic. …More

    I have a Volvo S80 and it was going to cost me $500-600 to get XM radio activated in my car, even though it was supposedly satellite ready. I ordered SkyDock on the Black Friday sale for @$90, and it really works great. My car has an auxiliary input for the for the Radio, and the sound quality is awesome. You can place your favorites on your iPhone app, scroll between stations and see what is playing and select - really pretty cool. I like a variety of music and it is always difficult to find good classical and jazz stations in the boonies-not anymore! Overall I am extremely well pleased. …More
