The Iomega eGo Helium Portable Hard Drive USB 2.0 is an ideal companion for your MacBook Air or other MacBook portable computer (HFS+ format). The compact silver design slips easily into a purse or briefcase and has the Iomega Drop Guard feature that protects from drops.
High capacity and convenience
The eGo Helium can hold hundreds of thousands of photos, thousands of hours of music or hundreds of hours of video. And it doesn't require an external power supply, so there's one less thing to pack.

Great drive overall but if you are looking for good speed go with a firewire drive like the g-drive or the lacie drive. They are much faster and overall a better drive. …More

Yes the Helium is able to work on the Air. I use the 320GB currently with no problems. Remember the Air USB port is able to power accessories with one USB port that the larger laptops need two for due to the power needs that Apple made the external SuperDrive need. …More
