    Poor quality, materials separate

    • Written by from Woburn

Three weeks into using this armband with my iPod, and the clear plastic separated from the neoprene. My iPod falls out of the case during use on a treadmill or elliptical machine. I would not buy this product again.

do not buy this inferior product!!! should be rated minus 5 stars!!!

    • Written by from Metairie

The armband is practically cardboard-the plastic cover split wide open the 2nd time I put my iPod into it-

This is a cheap, horrible product-would be overpriced at 99 cents!

I repeat, please, do not waste your money on this!

Would have given it minus 5 stars if I could-but you are forced to give it at least one star to post a review.

    DO NOT BUY

    • Written by

I got this to use with my touch and nike+ system, I run probably between 15-25 miles a week, but I figured since it was $35 AND sold at the Apple store it would be a quality product. 2 weeks after buying it the screen split from the frame on the bottom! Annoyed, I exchanged it at the Apple store and the rep told me he had NEVER heard of the problem (this was back in July), well last Sunday I was out on a long run and sure enough the screen separated from the frame again!

    allows sweat damage

    • Written by from Flower Mound

I had water damage to my iPod from sweat while wearing this armband. Leaves the port exposed and just milimeters from the skin. Was bound to happen in the hot climate I work out in.

    Disappointed

    • Written by from Pinehurst

This armband is uncomfortable and hard to use. To prevent it from slipping down your arm, you have to strap it on so tight that it limits circulation to your forearm and hand. Worse, the plastic lifts away from the touch screen, so it's almost impossible to manipulate your iPhone while it's strapped to your upper arm, let alone while actually running. This makes using the Nike+ app, which is otherwise great, extremely frustrating... I have lost runs trying to check my progress or stop the workout (and yes, I know you can just press the Home button to check progress... try it through the thick plastic! ugh!). The worst part is that it's expensive -- I paid almost US$50 for it at one of the Apple stores in Japan. It's so bad, I'm considering getting a nano touch and giving up running with the iPhone 4 altogether.

    Terrible

    • Written by from Frisco

The first few workouts it worked pretty well but once I started into my second week the armband started to show its weakness. It is impossible to pull your ipod out without putting creases into the protective cover. And the stitching on the ipod holder actually ripped so I took it back to Apple and demanded a new product or my money back. Overall probably the worst armband you can purchase. Very cheaply made and a complete waste of my time.

    Big Armband

    • Written by from Christiansburg

This armband is big, but has held up through snow and cold. I have not yet had the same problem with the plastic cover separating as have others. Perhaps not meant for the rain? Until they build a better mousetrap for us this looks like your best bet for larger iPods, like the 160GB classic.

    DONT BUY!

I wanted a case for my iPod that I could use when running - the plastic covering split the second time I put my iPod inside! This product is awful - don't waste your money!

    The worst product ever.

    • Written by from San Antonio

I purchased this approximately one month ago to replace a previous sports band. The fit was stiff and the plastic coating made it hard to use my click wheel. The beauty is after one month of use, the plastic window case cracked. $40 bucks down the drain. In addition, I had to take it out of the sleeve any time I needed sit it in the dock or attach it to any port. This was my first (AND LAST) time ever purchasing an en case sports armband. Terrible product engineering and overpriced. The worst part is the fact that this product was actually recommended by a store employee.

    Piece of junk

    • Written by from Delta

    Pros:
    * easy to strap on
    Cons:
    * hard to slide into sleeve - ultimately damages plastic screen, creating visible folds
    * too much material on the skin - when running, its really bothersome - too much strap
    * ultimately, 2 months of running later, the plastic screen cracked and broke
    * very hard to press buttons through the plastic.

Would never buy another. Just bought the new Marware armband at the Apple store. So far, love it (1 week in). Only disadvantage is its a bit harder to strap on because the fabric is slick on the arm. :)

Strap is too short for a man to use. Velcro provides little if any holding ability. One of the worst products I have ever purchased. Apple should be ashamed to sell such a poor product.

    Incase Sport Armband

    • Written by from San Jose

I just purchased this armband with my new IPod Touch over the weekend and I am very disappointed. The device does not recognize when you are touching it through the plastic sleeve so I had difficulty selecting my playlist, advancing to another song, ending my workout (Nike+), and you can just forget about adjusting the volume through the case.

It was even more difficult to get my device out of the sleeve.

pros: it is comfortable and washable

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing.

    disappointed

    • Written by from Grand Rapids

It's too bad that I did not read the reviews previously as I would not have purchased the product. I had the same problem with this particular product and now find it amazing that Apple continues to carry it when it's apparent that there is a serious defect. My plastic came right apart as well.

    NO GOOD

    • Written by from Cincinnati

Do not purchase. The item looks nice but it is not durable. I had a giftcard for Incase and was shocked at the cost of the arm band. The plastic that covers the screen cracked in half and is also too thick, making the home button difficult to press as well and make contact withe the screen. Looks nice but not worth it.

    incase is sub par

    • Written by from Vienna

You cannot scroll, press buttons or leave it in the case to update your ipod. The positives are that it keeps your ipod protected and it's ok if you have a playlist already made.

    Another poor Incase product

    • Written by from Ocoee

I ordered an Incase belt clip that was in pieces on arrival. This armband is the most frustrating accessory I have ever had for an Apple product. Impossible to rotate wheel to adjust volume, etc.
