I have to say I like the quality of these speakers. They are very well made, and look cool. I am using them on my 26" Samsung HDTV (because the speakers in the tv aren't great).
I think these speakers are good, and I know there crystal clear. However I haven't had anything to really "PUMP" them, and I think that's what I need to do to convince myself they rock other then listening to the news.
I have the Bose Companion 5 Speakers on my iMac and those are the best speakers ever.
I have these speakers since Nov last year. They are simply awesome. They don't work well if we keep them on a soft surface, like a carpet or a table cloth. Keep them on the Desk directly and you will start searching for a Woofer and wonder where all the Bass is coming from. But of-course it doesn't replace a good 2.1 system. For the portability and the Quality of sound it is worth it. The carrying case is also quite handy, you might wanna check that out too.
