I needed a new aux cable for my car since the old one was horrible. I own a 2010 subaru impreza, and as other owners may know, our factory sound system isn't the greatest. when I used this, it maybe doubled the volume of the speakers! Definitely worth the money.

Monster instrument cables aren't my favorite, but the stereo cables are absolutely amazing! The sound quality is in no way degraded, and there is no trace of that static you hear in bad cables(i believe you all know what i mean?). I use this in my car and keep the middle console lid closed on top of it all the time, and the cord still works flawlessly! This cable is perfect for your car, but it is a bit on the short side! So, if your auxiliary port is not within a foot or so of where you will be, i would go and buy a longer cable, for after about a foots reach, it becomes slightly uncomfortable. Hope i helped!

Shorter cable great for car, monster quality

    Radio Shack 6-foot 1/8" cable:
Too long for the car and always got tangled around something. Also, it developed a short near one of the tips because the tip sheaths are flexible but the cable itself is relatively stiff. Bad news bears.

    Monster iCable 800:
Perfect. It has rigid metallic tip sheaths, so not only will it not short out there, but it's also nicer to get a hold of when plugging/unplugging. The shorter cable indeed means less mess in the car, but it also means less distance over which your audio signal encounters interference. Sound quality is virtually perfect. Also, the cable itself is pleasantly flexible, and reassuringly but not overbearingly thick (that's what she said).

Yes, like everything else made by Monster or Bose, it's a bit pricey; but if you appreciate quality stuff, you won't be disappointed by this cable (unless you're dumb and buy it when you meant to get something longer).

This cable does what it is suppose to. It is just the right length and I hear zero hiss, just great sound coming from my iPhone headphone port. I bought this item after a cable I had from Scoche that I bought at a popular big box store stopped playing in stereo and rather just played on the left side. This Monster Cable did the trick.

I recently bought these online and was really impressed by how much better my iPod sounded in my car. They are also the perfect lengh for my car. It was a big step up from the orignal 3.5mm cord I bought at Radioshack.

I use this cable to connect to by Bose car system. Wow! The sound is robust and I don't have any problem with interference even when my iPhone is charging.

great idea but the aux plug for my car (range rover) is in the back of the center console and the 3' cord barely reaches up to connect ipod so that i can view and play it. a longer one would enable me to put it on the seat next to me or in one of the cup holders. sound is excellent.

New mercedes with the auxilary connection...sound quality is poor...sound is muffled with the
highs and lows cut out. FM radio sounds better.

    Monster Is My Favorite

I have this cable and their cassette adapter and they are both great. This cable is for my home theater system. It really brings out detail and my favorite part is the bass response it gives. I have an RCA system in my room, but in the living room we have a Sony system. There is an iPod dock included with it, but it has nowhere near the sound quality this cable has. I play the Wii in there and I always listen to my music, so instead of using the dock I plug this into the receiver. It makes major improvements in treble and of course in bass.
