Reviews for Moshi ClearGuard CS Keyboard Protector for Apple Keyboard

This is very good. It fits my unibody 13" macbook incredibly well. I was expecting there to be some for of adhesive to make it stick to the keyboard, but there isn't, which is alright. For the most part I can't really tell it's there, though I can feel some difference and it softens the clacking of the keyboard. The main issue - if there is one - is that it make keyboard sensitivity a little bit less, but I'm assuming I will get used to that. After all, it is still way more sensitive than a PC keyboard! ;)

I bought mine about four months ago along with my new Macbook Air. As the manufacturer suggested that this cover fits MBA keyboard but not perfectly which is not a big problem for me. I'm very happy with the product as it does keep my keyboard clean and nice. But like some other users may experienced, it gets cloudy after months of use. I just learned it can be washed with mild detergent and tried to wash it today. It doesn't help much, but when I was tapping dry it by kitchen paper, I found the cloudiness on my moshi actually comes from the bottom side of it (the side that touches keyboard), so I wiped it a little harder with the kitchen paper and now it's as clean as new! Definitely will buy again if I change to a new computer.

The Moshi ClearGuard protector for my wireless keyboard makes my not so good typing even a little more difficult. Maybe I have to get used to it. I'm still giving it 4 stars because of appearance and ease of application. The packaging is very slick and mimics Apple's minimalistic white branding. Is it worth $25? Time will tell based on wear and ease of cleaning.

Good to use if you want to keep dust and other stuff from getting in. You can see the cover because it gets "cloudy". Cleaning takes a while to remove the oils and you really need to rub to get it off. I've only cleaned mine twice. Maybe there is an easier way than just using soapy water which doesn't really take off the oil/grime that comes from your fingers. Fits great and doesn't slip around.

I bought this keyboard cover in addition to the other moshi products including the iVisor and the Palmguard/Trackpad Protector. I like the keyboard cover but I am not as impressed with it as I am the other products.

It really is as thin as they say it is and overall it fits the keyboard very well. The texture was a bit odd to get used to at first but after typing for a while It doesn't bother me that much anymore. I agree though that it is not as fitted as it could be. The top row of keys have a light overhang and the rest of the keys are well fitted but still move slightly when typing.

Overall I'm happy with it and will continue to use it in order to protect my computer from spills, crumbs, dust, and pet hair. But I wish that there was some sort of seal or static cling on the edges to keep it as flush as possible.
