Reviews for moshi 15" PalmGuard Palm Rest Protector for MacBook Pro

I also have the keyboard protector from moshi, I think they make a wonderful product. As far as functionality, there is no difference whatsoever. It obviously feels different than the macbook, but I believe that is the point, so it protects the palm area and trackpad. It fits perfectly and blends perfectly with the macbook pro, I recommend for any mac owners who want to preserve and protect their investment! My only qualm is that it is a bit pricey for a piece of plastic, I don't understand why the moshi products are a little expensive, but all in all it is worth it.

This is by far the best protection on the market. I just installed mine and it is perfect. barely even know its there... defiantly worth the nickel...

This is an essential product for those looking to protect the palm rest of their MBP from scratches and dings. I purchased this for my late-2009 15" MBP, and it transfered flawlessly to my new 15" i7 MBP when the other unit had to be replaced; there have been no problems with adhesion.

I do not use the trackpad protector because I found an unacceptable depreciation in responsiveness when I did, but it's absolutely worth buying the product just for the hand plant protector. The protecter does exactly what it's supposed to, and it looks fantastic! I use it along with the Moshi keyboard protector, which also functions very well though can deform a little with heat and use.

I bought thisproduct about 2 months ago for my Macbook Pro. Buy it if you are indecisive! It fits on perfect, comes off easy when you want it to, and leaves nothing behind. Protects both the palm area and trackpad perfect, and the trackpad still works great! I havent wrote a review for anything online before, but i liked this so much i decided people would benefit from it. Again, a must buy for this computer.

I love this product and I am so glad that I bought it. The palm guard and trackpad cover match the brushed aluminum very well in texture and color. It installs very easily with absolutely no bubbles or wrinkles or fuss. I even removed the trackpad cover to reposition it and it came up with no problems whatsoever, didn't leave any residue, and I re applied it with no difficulties. And the track pad cover doesn't interfere with its functionality one bit. I was able to use the cursor, scroll, and swipe just like before without any extra effort or repetition. While this product might be a bit pricey it is certainly worth the money and will help protect your laptop from dirt, oil, and scratches.

I finished installing my palmguard and I'm not impressed. I love the look of it but it doesn't play well with my satin speck see thru. I managed to squeeze the palmguard on one side under the tab of the see thru. On the other side it keeps lifting and the tab keeps going under the palmguard.

Color looks good ... and Trackpad response is not that great .... i bought it after i read the reviews but disappointed after using ...earlier i used to do just a gentle touch on the track pad but now its hard i am clicking

at first i was cautious to use this, as i find that third party accessories usually make a new macbook pro look 'ugly'. This however, blends well with the colour of my mbp - the texture is nice, and the best part is that it isnt thick! -- so when i close the lid of my mac it still sits snug.

this is a great product which adds to the beauty of the notebook. and contrary to what others have said about the trackpad not working, after a few days of installment when the palmguard and the trackpad guard has settled, the trackpad is actually working fine with it's sensitivity back to normal. just allow a few days and a little getting-used-to for it to work.
