Marware CEO is an excellent case

    Written by DS from Vancouver

This was exactly what i was looking for.
I wanted a case which wouldnt ruin the beauty of the iphone.
The case is relatively loose so the iphone slips in quite easily. Hold the case upside down and the iphone remains inside the case (as there is no strap). you would need to really shake it hard upside down for it to fall out, otherwise, unlike other pouches, this allows you to pinch both corners of the phone allowing you to use the sleep button as a grip to easily and quickly slide the phone out.

it is quite thin and the leather is soft and high quality.
the optional belt clip is easy to slide on, and it very secure. removing the belt clip is tricky, requiring a Pen to be inserted through the middle to unhinge it. this option is great if you want to wear it on your belt (for work) or take of the clip and have a slim pouch for your jeans (for going out).

headphones, and volume controls are accessible. the only problem with this sleek design is the chunky "marware" label on the back, which im considering snipping off!

Best Case I Have Ever Owned!

Anyone who does not want to cover up their iPhone but wants it to be protected and scratch free should definitely purchase this case. It is very nice and expensive looking and feels sturdy. The clip is strong and is removable if you like to keep your phone in your pocket. I have tried many cases over the past two years and this one stands out as the best. I do not like putting bulky cases and skins on my iPhone as they change how big the phone is and cover up the great look of the phone. It comes with a screen cover as well which is crystal clear and very easy to apply. The case holds my iPhone securely in place and does not allow it to accidentally fall out. I bought this for my 3GS and it has kept it very safe and scratch free!

... this case made the transition easy!

The case easily clips onto pant pockets, and the phone easily slides out whenever I need to use it. Can't ask for more - this case is sweet!

The price point is awesome too

This is the best case, heres why:

Any iPhone case makes it more clunky and akward in your hand and besides, who wants to hide their iphone in a plastic case? So a sleeve like this one is perfect because you just put your iphone in the sleeve while it's in your pocket or purse or cup holder (whatever) and when you need to use the phone, just slide it out. You get the feel and look of the iphone without an ulgly case and the protection when you need it. The best of both worlds!

    Best sleeve

Written by TP from oklahoma city

This sleeve is exactly what I needed because I am a kind of guy that always have full off stuffs in the pockets so I referred to wear my phone on my waist band. FYI I have an Incase Slider on my 3G iPhone and it works great with this sleeve, no problem at all when get the phone in or out of the sleeve. The screen protector come with this sleeve is not worth to put on the phone, so I am using the PS anti glare film. BTW this is my 2nd CEO sleeve because I lost my first one that originally used for my 2G iPhone. So far I have not see anything bad in quality yet.

    Amazing little case

    Written by TC from Toronto

I just bought this case today and didn't even bother putting the clip on because it looked flimsy and i didn't want to ruin the sleekness of the case.

The case is super slick and feels great. It contours to the iphone perfectly and is really easy to access the phone and all of the major buttons (volume control, silent/loud switch, sleep button).

I'm very picky on cases but this one has satisfied my needs.

    Defiantly would recommend.

    Great product

This is a pricy option, but here is what I did. I purchased the slick, clear backing and anti-glare film for the phone to protect in from minor scratches and small falls. Then I bought this sleeve for when I am at work and running around. For casual stuff I just keep the phone in my pocket, but when I wear a suit I really like having it on my hip. This is the perfect solution. A little pricey, but perfect!

    Good Case

    Written by LH from Brownsville

    Mar 26, 2009

I bought this case because I could actually use the phone without it being encapsulated in some sort of enclosed casing. Most cases add to the thickness of the phone as did my previous case. This one allows you to use the phone in its natural state and has a soft subtle lining inside the case to protect your phone. I just purchased the case, so I do not have enough experience to cast a judgment on the belt clip. But so far, so good.

This sleeve is perfect. It provides great protection without a lot of bulk. I removed the clip and keep the case in my pocket. It's the perfect size for any iPhone or iPod touch.

    Great case

This is a great case, very protective. I wouldn't be worried at all if i dropped it, even on my driveway. The included screen protector is very nice its thick but you don't even notice it. I do not use the belt clip, I just put it in my pocket and the case is tight so it wont fall out if i pull it out of my pocket upside down. Overall good case A+

With this case, I can still show off my iPhone without any thick case around it when using it. After I use it, I just slip it back in the case, well protected. When i go to the gym, headphones are very accessible and volume buttons plus a clip to hold it.

    Very Good

    Written by MJ from Inwood

    Jun 16, 2009

    Pro
    - Great quality
    - Durable

    Cons
    - Might become loose
    - Might accidentally turn up the volume or switch the silent switch

    ( Maybe a Con )
    - Can't use it with another case

    Personally
I like this case over all. I love the quality and build. Inside of it is smooth and some what helps clean the screen. It's also durable. I've had this since november 2008 and it' still in very good condition.

The only bad thing is that if you have your iPhone right side up, you'll most likely grab the silent or volume rocker while taking it out of the case. If you put the phone bottom's up then that's no problem. For the people who actually listen to music while they use their phone ( like my self ) will forever have that problem.

Also, if you stretch the sides out by putting the iphone in the case with a rubber case on it ( like i tried to do idiotically ) then it might make the case loose and your phone might fall out if the case is loose enough. The sides actually became a little tighter again but not to how it was originally.

The case is great over all. i love it. I trust vertical cases more because I won't pull the phone out by latching on to the headphone plug , causing the headphone jack on the phone to crack.

    Get this case.

Great case for someone who wants quick and easy access to their phone.

    Written by JG from Kalamazoo

Great case for someone who wants quick and easy access to their phone.
I really loved this case. Great for someone one that uses their phone alot while doing other things.
The phone can be pulled out very fast and without having to move any flaps or covers and put
away just as easy. The only negative is that the connection from the plastic belt clip to the leather
case it self is weak. As time went on the case seemed to rip away from the plastic more and more.
Even though I had that one problem I will still buy another one of those. I just can't find anything on the
market that can match is function and style.

    Good but not great

Written by MC from winter springs

It depends, would you like to put this in your bag or would you be running around with it. when you let this thing go it will go flyin and might come out. But if you are gonna clip this up great case. This case is a perfect combo with the incase slider my incase protective cover fits but is tight and you can barely get it out it needs a strap so it wont come out so easy.

    Great Functionsality - Poor Wearability

    Written by SH from Oakville

    Sep 10, 2008

Bought this in Toronto on July 11 after picking up my new 3G. Loved the case. The only thing that might have improved the design was a snap tab on the top to lock the phone in.

Unfortunately, the quality of material is sadly lacking for Marware product. Within one week, the corners/edges of the case lost the top shiny coating of the "leatherette" and show the second layer of dull grayish/black material.

I took it back to the Apple Store and they offered a replacement, but I didn't bother because the sales rep and I both agreed that it would just happen again.

I have a number of Marware products and love them, but this case should have held up better. No response from them when I emailed to ask about this.

    Hope this helps.

    WARNING

    Written by JN from Philadelphia

    Jun 21, 2009

The belt clip was so loose that it fell off at a restaurant in the airport for me. I didn't notice till the plane was taking off.

Becareful of holsters/cases with belt clips that are not snug like this one. You may regret it.

From now on I'm sticking to belt loops or very firm belt clips.

To be fair though, other than that huge problem, this case was great. :)

    Flawed design

Written by DY from Port Washington

    Dec 22, 2008

I thought that this was going to be an ideal case. It seemed to be well constructed with a decent quality leather. It worked well for a few months until, like other reviewers, the clip mechanism failed. With an improved clip design, this would be a great case, but unfortunately, in its current form, it is definitely flawed.

Nice case except for the weak clip

    Written by DK from Vancouver

    Dec 14, 2008

This case is mostly what I wanted, sleek and easy to use. Unfortunately, like other reviewers, I've had the clip separate from the case. I tried to crazyglue it back on, it broke off again. Also, the top of the belt clip can be uncomfortable against skin if I don't have a shirt tucked in.

Until they improve the clip attachment, I wouldn't recommend this case.

not as secure as I'd like

    Written by BC from Windsor

    Jul 26, 2009

I wanted protection for my iPod Touch that I could clip on my belt but since there is a fully open end, if inverted, the expensive darling slips out.
Until I can replace it, I'm wearing an elastic band around the sleeve lengthwise to keep it in.

    Regret

    Written by MA from Springboro

    Aug 22, 2008

I've had my iPhone 3G for two weeks, and I purchased the Marware CEO at the local Apple store at the same time. It looks great, seemed to work okay, but yesterday, when leaving my car in a parking lot, the glue joins on the clip mount all failed, and the iphone (with sleeve) hit the pavement. Perhaps some angled pressure caused the failure, but this never happened with my blackberry holder, and it was the first time I sat in my car with it on my belt.

I believe the glue to what looks like a cardboard, is a poor design. Now my new iphone has severe scratches on the chrome ring, Murphy decided that it would hit the ground on the open end first.

I now regret that I bought the device to protect my new phone. If I had known the clip mount was attached so poorly, I wouldn't have trusted it to stay on my hip.
