I'd heard a lot of stuff about Dr. Dre's beats, not all of them good. The reviews I had gotten were mixed, so i figured I'd give them a try before passing too much judgement. I was in an Apple Store about a week ago getting a repair for my computer. I saw the beats, and immediately took them from the stand. I arranged them in a way so that I could also fit some Bose headphones aroud the other ear, and I played the same song with the same settings on 2 different iPhones. There was no contest: The beats won. I've had a pair of nice Bose Quiet Comfort 2 headphones in my household for a few years now, but these were something entirely different. The volume was the first thing to catch me: I truly couldn't stand the same volume setting that I had on the Bose set on the Beats. The base also took me: I had the default Hip-hop equalizer on, and it felt like I had taken the time to set up custom equalizer for the song. The bass made the headphones vibrate, but it didn't sacrifice higher audio. All of it was crisp. I plan to get these headphones ASAP.

I got these headphones a few months ago, and the sound is awesome at first it was a little intense (with the base) but i soon got used to it. But i do have a few problems with it, one of them is that on both cords after using them for about a week the wired at either end of them started pocking out and now there is a centimeter gap in between the cored and the jack. Another problem is that when i have the headphones plugged into my mac-laptop and i put the charger in the laptop i can here a buzzing sounds coming from the headphones. But over all they are pretty good.

These are by far the best headphones I have ever used. If you need good quality Music... it is worth spending. I test it at Best Buy before buy. I would highly recommend to test it before buy.

These are worth every penny you have, the sound is bananas. I can't wait till i get my pair.

I saw them on display at FutureShop, and i've never heard anything sound the same. You hear every little sound the artists want you to hear, and best of all, no sounds come in and no sounds go out. Not gonna lie, the quality intimidates me.

i tried these on in Bestbuy and thought these had the best bass and sound i've ever heard from headphones but they are a little bit over priced.

I HEARD THE WORST AND THE BEST like Bose ETC, ETC, ETC...BUT THESE HEADPHONES RIGHT HERE! THESE HEADPHONES RIGHT HERE! Big bass, muddy sound

I had money in hand and was going to buy the Dr. Dre Headphones. I tried them on at an Apple Store immediately disliked the overly thick, thumping bass and overall muddy sound. I played with the EQ on the iPod and couldn't get any level of what I would call Fidelity out of them. I switched to another pair, same thing. Too bad. I wanted something with good solid bass, full sound AND crystal clear sound. If you want head exploding bass, get these. If you're more of an audiophile that likes pristine sound, don't buy these. Get the Bose or Sennheisers instead.

I feel lost with the sound.

I bought this last week.
I got a great design.
What I found:
-Greap amp. but not good sound producing.
-The big power bass but poor of details.
-Distortion found in Mid-range.
-Lack of details on highs.

I think I'm goin to sall and go back on my Roland rh300.

If you have the means I strongly suggest picking these things up. People notice these things all over and why not, Kobe, Lebron, Guys on Entourage wear these. Besides them looking sick the sound is amazing. I feel like I am in a concert when I am on an airplane. These headphones with a pair of true religion jeans and a fresh fitted and you are ready.

After searching around and sifting though all available over the ear headphones in this price range and then reading numerous reviews I decided on the Beats Headphones. No that it really matters but I do have to say this product gives a fantastic first impression as the packaging is impressive and you can tell Apple really had a lot of input not only in the packaging but the over all design and features.

I had them delivered to my office and quickly got them out, hooked them up and plugged them into my iphone. First I want to say that having the custom iphone cable is fantastic. This cable allows you to answer incoming calls by pressing a small button on the cable...Very handy! All I have to say is there is a reason these phones take 2 AAA batteries. The base response on these phones is amazing and distortion free. I tested it out with some good drum and base and the phones were literally vibrating with clean solid bass. very impressive. I then ran the gamut with everything from classical to Slipknot and I can find no flaws with these phones. Of course you can probably spend less but I would bet you will get significantly less as well. I would be very skeptical with any of the bad reviewers of this product as they always seem to be pushing some other brand and I'm not sure if they are genuine.

All and all fantastic phones and worth every penny.

dude i dont care how expesive these headphones are but when i put these phones on for the first time i got high on music. oh my god! i swear it sounded like if you had the greatest car sound system right on your ears, they were absolutly AMAZING! BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!

I really like these headphones, they were easy to get ready and the sound is great with no backround noise. The price i think is alittle much but good product for the price. I would recommend them to a friend.

Good, but could be better

I recently bought these headphones for $300 dollars, but my Bose headphones still produce better bass compared to Beats by Dr. Dre. I know Dr. Dre is a famous producer and all, but seriously, my Bose headphones are $280 dollars - $20 dollars cheaper - and they still provide better sound quality than Beats. The way I see it, if you have money and want to boast it, then buy these because 1. They're more expensive and 2. They aren't that bad. If you want better sound quality, then definitely buy Bose headphones because they produce really clear sound and really good bass quality.
