I think that these headphones are amazing, the sound quality is excellent allowing the user to hear nearly all the highs and lows of almost any music they choose to listen to. My only comment is that the headphones come supplied with two cable, not having an iphone i still use the cable with the mic as the red cable comes apart at the connectors very easily especially if you travel with the headphones. The cable with the mic however is excellent had no problems with this. Also allows you to use it with any phone with a normal headphone jack on most phones now adays. overall excellent quality just one cable could have been so much better as its frustrating.

Great sound but...

I have had these headphones for 6 months now and adore the sound. I find subtle components I have never even noticed before on tracks I been listening to for years.
Sadly, twice in those 6 months the cable sheath has failed at the jack plug. The cable looks really robust and well made but the lack of a flex stiffener appears to cause a weakness. To their credit Monster replaced the first one without a quibble and I am expecting them to do the same this time too but I do feel the quality of the cable lets down and otherwise first class product.

I Love the beats by dre. the have super deep bass. and plays high sounds just as well. now that i hear my music like this all of my other headphones just seem like they cost 2 dollars. i love the beats, Its worth the price if you listen to your music a lot

As much as I hated the Dr Dre Tour earphones, the Studio headphones are phenomenal. The whole range of sound is perfect with especially great bass response without losing the clarity of the high end. Listen for yourself at one of the Apple Stores. You'll be blown away.

My Beats by Dre ruined me....now any other time I listen to music it will never sound as good as it does through my head phones. If you're passionate about music these headphones are a must! They are sick! The only complaints I have are as far as pricing goes..they're a little steep but you definitely get what you pay for. And also any people around you can hear what you're listening to which is really not a bad thing because now I can show off what great musical taste I have!

Ok - good sound - but batteries ???

So I am still looking for my perfect pair of iphone headphones - almost had it with these - the key word is almost - I am looking for a pair that doesnt have a ton of cord noise with movement (any in ear has way too much for me - cant stand the constant rubbing of wires etc) and these are great at that - the quality of the build is awesome - the cables have an option to use a cable with an inline mic and button(which the stupid bose ones do not have - the button ) - so you can use these for voice control on the 3gs without taking the phone out - which is clutch. The cables are rubberized and sturdy the headphones feel great and sound amazing (had to turn on low bass on my phone though) -- the problem I realized after one day is that these need batteries - even if you dont want the noise cancelling you have to have them on to work at all - and I left them on my first day (who remembers to turn off there headphones??) and the batteries were dead. Ugggh -- so close to a perfect pair.

From Kobe to Lebron to your average DJ everyone has them cause their amazing. I bought these before my 11 hr flight to Germany and couldnt have made a better choice no excess sound at all. All the music you want None of the excess engine noises you dont want!! great for anything really!!

These headphones really only have one purpose, techno music. When i listen to any kind of techno or house music, i love as much bass as I can get, these cans deliver. But for the other 8k songs i have in my library, these headphones are utter garbage. The bass isn't controlled at all, and dominates the music, making them seem very muddy and too warm. I would only recommend these headphones to people with only hip-hop and techno in their library, even so, actually I wouldn't recommend these to anybody.
If your looking for a new pair of high end headphones, do some research with companies like Sennheiser, Denon, and Grado, your ears will thank you.

First off id just like to say I never write reviews for products but my love for these drove me into it. Dr. Dre's 'Beats' headphones are the best noise canceling headphones on the market. I feel they surpass the quality of the Bose, which compare closely in both price, quality, and comfort. Though it is a little expensive, the quality compares to headphones that are a lot more.
A great product... recommend for everyone!

I bought the headphones yesterday, and I have to say that they are a little over hyped. They sound good but it really depends on how good the file is. I was dissapointed with the noise cancellation, it was ok but not worth 300$. They look good, feel good, there really comfortable. But really it probably depends on the pair you get because it seems to me that some pairs are defective. Overall they are great sounding headphones, but not worth 300$. I did try the bose headphones and these are clearly better.

People, I have one thing to say. These "Beats by Dr.Dre" are horrible! They leak a LOT of noise, and you can hear the SFX, but not enough of the music. Plus I don't know about anyone else, but I got a LOT of static. And to top it off is the ridiculously steep price. Go with Grado, Bose, or even Skullcandy. "Beats" compared to these, "Beats" give Dollar Store headphones a good name.

I really don't understand what the critics are talking about...These headphones are 100% amazing. I can't believe I've been listening to music without these bad boys. Music isn't music without these now. The only thing that bad critics are right about is that you can hear the music outside the headphones if someone else is using them. But it's not that bad. Definitely worth the price in my opinion.

Life Changing

These a simply.... Amazing! The first time I tried these my friend let me try them and they beat was so clear. It sounded so great it gave me the chills. My new goal in life is to let everyone else try these. Definatley worth the $300.
